It was rare to see Duo actually pissed off. Even with the stupid virus going around, he'd been hiding his own easily irritable behavior well for the first few days, but Jake had finally gone and pressed all the wrong buttons.
No. Not pressed. Hammered on. Hard.
More than few times his yelling could be heard coming from behind the closed door of the office at the tea shop, but it wasn't until he came storming out that there was any real confirmation something was seriously wrong. He looked downright furious, his eyes burning with fury, face set in stony anger and showing, finally, the soldier he had become all those years ago.
Luckily for him and his employees, there was only two actual patrons in the tea shop.
He barely had enough control to keep his voice even as he spoke.
"We're closing up early. Sorry for any inconvenience."
