For all the things that Kazuma had been nervous or awkward about when it came to dating Nadeko, he was surprisingly calm about Sakae meeting her. He'd already said several times that he was sure his great grandmother would have loved the girl, and now they were getting the chance to find out for sure.

Kazma had just returned with Sakae, but ducked out shortly after saying he had some where to be. Kazuma never questioned his constant vanishing acts, though it did make him wonder...

"Nadeko-chan is in here..." he said after the rabbit avatar had left, taking his glasses out from his pocket and putting them on. He'd been practicing before all the excitement, and had only just changed back in to street clothes before her arrival.

Sakae nodded in consent. He had already started to form a positive option of the young woman from talking to her over the D-Comms. This would either cement her option that she was suitable to marry into the clan, or not. And as far as that was concerned, the family's honour came before anything else. Even love if need be.

"I See. I spoke to her briefly over the network. She seems to be suitable, Kazuma-kun."

That got a slightly more noticeable reaction, namely a faint blush on Kazuma's cheeks.

"You should still meet her..." he said quietly, moving in to the living room.

"I plan to." She nodded, following after the boy without hesitation.

As soon as they entered the room, Nadeko looked up, her gaze first falling upon Kazuma, and then looking toward Sakae. She walked toward the both of them, stopping and offering a bow as she got close to them.

"I-It's very nice to finally meet you," she said, her nerves betraying her through her voice.

"We talked a little over the D-Comm, but I am Sengoku Nadeko ..."

Kazuma hung back behind his grandmother, keeping quiet as the two began to talk. He wasn't really sure what to do, since he was rarely present for the family bringing their own significant others to Sakae, but he knew he at least needed to be polite and not butt in to their conversation.

"A pleasure to finally meet you, Sengoku-san. " Her own bow wasn't as deep, but her body wasn't as able to any more, much to displeasure. No matter, She was still as polite as her old age would allow. "Please, have a seat. I'm afraid that Kazuma-kuns been rather... struck for words with you. I can certainly see why. He takes after Manzou-kun in that respect."

And she was only more amused by that fact. Her son had been so tongue tied that his wife had done most of talking in the initial meeting.

Nadeko straightened herself up a little and giggled a bit at the news of Kazuma's inability to describe her. She did as she was told, however, and took her seat, politely clasping her hands in front of her and offering a small smile.

"That certainly sounds like Kazuma-kun," she said. "I think it's cute."

Thankfully, Kazuma bit back his groan that wanted to come out at hearing that. His cheeks went a little bit redder, but he simply ducked his head to hide his face.

Sakae nodded as took her own seat, looking every bit the matriarch that she was, while managing to look humble about it as well. "And yet he's failed to introduce you formally to me, Sengoku-san." She had an amused smile on her face though. Already, she liked the young woman. She was indeed a suitable match for her great-great grandson and the Jinnouchi clan on a whole.

Nadeko blushed a little. "I-I suppose I sort of took that job from him ..." She looked over to Kazuma, smiling sheepishly.

"Would you like to .. a-ah, formally introduce me? I'm sorry, I jumped ahead .."

Urk. Well. That was embarrassing.

"Uhm... obaachan, th-this is Sengoku Nadeko-chan. Nadeko-chan, Jinnouchi Sakae-san..."

"It is my honour. Kazuma-kun mentioned you are his girlfriend?" She's doing a good job of hiding her surprise, because, according to her, she meet Koiso-san only a few days ago, and now this? But, give that she has learned that she eventually passed at home. "How long, if I might ask?"

AKA How long have you both been in this strang not-OZ place?

"A-Ah, how long have Kazuma-kun and I been together like this, you mean?" Nadeko asked, blinking, then falling quiet to actually take some time and think about that. It had been ... a little over two months now, right?

"A couple of months," Kazuma answered fairly quickly. He couldn't remember the exact amount of time, but he figured that was close enough. It was only slightly less then the time he'd been in the Digital World.

A nod as she looked over them both, then another nod, this time with a smile. "I see."

And then she turned her attention to Nadeko, serious poker face on now. "Sengoku-san. Would you do anything for Kazuma-kun, even died for him?"

She'll get to you in a minute Kazuma.
