What: Where do we go from here?
When: Feb 8th, 2011. Morning (after most of the posts about Jake) [Frontdate]
Where: Megakat Auto, Neon -> Edwards/Hiyama Residence, Axoryi
Rei watched from a distance as Vent entered Megakat Auto, arms wrapped around herself and Paulo standing at her side. She didn't want to watch the DATS agent rummage through the place that she worked and had come to love in such a short period of time. It was just too upsetting to think that not two days ago, they had been sharing sodas in the back office and laughing about something stupid that she couldn't even recall anymore.
She wasn't crying, but she was close to tears. Vent had offered to help Megakat get back to normal after the place had been thoroughly searched with the promise to let her keep running it, but unless Jake was found and proven innocent in the entire thing, there was just no chance it was ever going to be the same again. Which of course begged the question - what was next?
Even though he was somewhat new to the business, Rei could tell Paulo was feeling the same, a similar sad expression on his face as they stared at the auto shop.
"This omomo nako, man..." she sighed after a few minutes of silence had passed between the two of them. She didn't care if he couldn't understand her, though it was pretty easy to guess she saying something about how much the situation sucked. "I thought we had a real ohana goin' on, then that lolo goes and nalowale on us... tch. Huki 'ino."
