Arrives shortly after the distress signal is aired.guardianofearthJanuary 20 2011, 10:41:56 UTC
"Looks like I have another giant monster to put down," Miria grumbled as she flew into the forest with her partner not far behind her. However, as she drew close enough to the beast to scan it, she suddenly discovered something. "That is not a digmon, in fact that thing's DNA is that of a human boy!"
"Human boy? How is that... Wait wasn't Beast boy suppose to be able to transform?" HS-Cannonbeemon asked as he was coming to a realization.
"This could be a problem," Miria grumbled once again.

"Needless to say," said a voice, suddenly crackling over Miria's comm, "I find that rather immaterial now. I suggest we do our best to subdue this creature and then ask questions later."
The comment came from another DATS agent on the scene - Aeolus, the Wind Megaman, who was currently transformed and hovering alongside his partner, evolved into Aquilamon.
"My partner is going to try and divert it away from the town," he said, before... well, urging his partner forward, who fired at the beast's feet to try and get it to change course.

"We'll help." Riza - who'd only become a DATS agent a short time ago - added as she and her partner came into view, the Gazimon grinning at the thought of a fight. Finally, something to do that could be fun. Riza looked more cautious though.

A brown feline wearing a blue and red flight-suit flew up to the two using his Jet Shadow jet pack.
"If the plan is to lure it away, leave it to me too!" He flew towards the monster and fired three missiles at it, hoping to get it's attention that way.
OK, just the four of you for now, we'll switch things up if we have to.changelingdudeJanuary 21 2011, 08:50:27 UTC
Between Razor's missiles and Aquilamon's shots the massive lizardlike beast swung about wildly, tail sending trees scattering into the air to rain down on anyone or anything unfortunate enough to be in their path. Spotting Razor first the beast began thundering after him with a roar that split the winter air like a stick over his knee.

"Be careful! That monster may be a missing Tamer! We need a way to bring him down without harming him too much!" Miria warned the others over the D-Comm as she unfolded her heavy plasma cannon from her forearm, and set it to it's stun mode. "Keep an eye on how much damage you are going. If it looks like you may being hurting him too much, stop attacking!"
The HSAT then kicked her thrusters and headed in the same direction as Razor. Once she was at the right angle from the creature, she fired off a large blue fireball at the monster. Contained within the ball of plasma was enough paralyzing energy to knock out an elephant.

"Shi-!" Razor did his best to try and reverse course. If that monster got a hold of him he'd be screwed. Aiming his Dark Gloveatrix he fired a mini-megaton at the creatures head, hoping to distract it long enough to get some distance.
In short order the blue fireball scorched his scales and rained down upon the forest only to be scattered by the flailing beast as it spun about on it's attackers. The attack to his feet caused a roar and a screech that could deafen some, and finally the mini Megaton earned Razor a swish of the beasts tail as it thundered after Miria.
"You know, it is quite possible to do both at the same time, Aeolus!" Miria grumbled back as she fired off another stun blast from her heavy cannon. She had heard stories about how difficult Aeolus was to handle, and was at that moment was hoping that they were just exaggerated.
Miria grinned as the monster turned away from the village and took chase after her. That's it big guy. Chase the annoying red hornet that keeps zapping you. She fired two additional shots hoping to keep the creature's attention focused on her.
((OOC: While the stun weapons cause very little to no physical harm, the paralyzing energy can render a target unable to move, or even knock it out. The effect is accumulative meaning that even large enemies will feel the effects after enough hits.))
Now that Beast Boy was going after Miria, Aeolus signaled the maneuver to Aquilamon and flew after the beast. He surged up, and attempted to attack what he guessed (educatedly) with his blades, stabbing the energy sabers in as hard as he could.
Razor grinned as the creature turned towards Miria but cried out as he noticed the tail a bit too late. It hit him and sent him spinning through the air and towards the trees.
"Fuuuuu-!" his cry was cut short when he smacked into a tree.
Any pleasure the beast might have had for nailing Razor was short lived as it let out another pained shriek at the blades digging into his thick scale covered flesh. The stun blasts weren't helping either. The beast was getting more furious, more dangerous. Thrashing about sending trees and earth with every kick and stomp.
"Don't hit him on the back! We're trying to lead him away from the village!" Miria shouted at the new comer as she fired several blasts in rapid succession at the beast in the hopes that she would not lose his attention.
At the same time though she was worried about Jake. Yes, she knew it was Jake underneath that disguise. It was kind of hard not to when your scanners can read a person's DNA. That, and Jake was one of the few anthropomorphic cats in the digital world. It was kind of hard not to know it wasn't him when you had met the cat in person.
"Jake, are you okay?" Miria called over a locked D-comm signal to the feline. She may have know his identity, but that did not mean she didn't understand Jake wanting to keep it secret.
"I don't need you to order me around," Aeolus growled. "I'm going for the weak points...!"
Aeolus backed off and flew backwards, narrowly dodging the slashing and thrashing. Aquilamon, however, flew in, dodging as best he could, activating his Glide Horn attack and attempting to surge up and slam into the beast's lower jaw with his energized horns.

Aquilamon disengaged, and Aeolus slashed his sabers, sending off of paralyzing wave of wind and electricity of his own, aimed at the monster's feet.

A column of ground-earth, right where the beast was about to step, shot up to hit him in the face.
Grass-covered stones pelted the beast's back.
And standing on a floating stone platform was Terra, goggles around her eyes, Gotsumon standing next to her.
Her eyes narrowed at the beast and a chill went down her spine.
But she did not recognize it.
