(
...Crazy yellow people walking through my head. One of them's got a gun, to shoot the other one. )
Nadeko's eyes narrowed at the boy who spoke to her just as she was packing up to get out of class. He tried talking to her often, and it was always the same thing; harassing her about her relationship with Kazuma. Nadeko zipped up her backpack and put it on.
"Everything," she responded quietly, beginning to walk out the door of the classroom. He followed her. He'd never actually followed her before. He just harassed her.
"You're a pretty girl. You could do so much better."
"I don't want to be with anybody else," she said, trying to keep her responses simple. The boy frowned. He wasn't getting anywhere, as usual. He grabbed her arm and forced her to stop and look at him.
"He couldn't even hold his own against that Meramon, I hear. Your Daddy had to protect him. Wouldn't you want someone who could protect you better? I could've beat ten of those things."
Nadeko's fist clenched, but he only held onto her arm tighter, causing her ti wince a little.
"I-I've already said I don't ( ... )

It didn't take long for Kazuma to figure out just what was going on. Nadeko had mentioned a fellow student was bothering her from time to time, but neither of them had thought it would ever go this far.
Luckily for the kid, he was only pissed that he was manhandling Nadeko. Kazuma hadn't heard the comment about the Meramon.

"Informing her that she could have much better than what she's got," he sneered. He hadn't let go of Nadeko's wrist; in fact, he only held on tighter as Kazuma approached, causing a tiny, pained sound to emit from Nadeko.
"What're you gonna do about it?"

And he didn't. Nadeko bit her lip to keep from emitting any more sound. The boy didn't move.
"She's pretty attached to you, kid. I wonder how much it would take to break her of that loyaty ..."

"Spoken like a true coward. Couldn't even hold your own against that Meramon. Though of course your dad couldn't either. And you know what they say, like father like son and all that shit."
He let Nadeko's arm go, throwing it at her so that she hit herself in the head and stumbled back a few steps.
"If you want to protect her that badly, Ikezawa, prove it."

"Don't... don't you dare talk about Doumeki-san that way!" the boy screamed, his fist lashing out and striking the other student right in the face hard enough that a loud crack resounded through the hall.

"Oooh, did I hit a nerve?"
Nadeko rushed forward, grabbing one of Kazuma's arms and trying to tug him toward the school's exit.
"K-Kazuma-kun, let's just go!" she pleaded, trying to stop this from getting any more out of hand than it was.

"Bring it," he said in a low, dangerous voice, moving his hand in the same 'come get some' motion.

Oh, Kazuma-kun ...
The boy, however, enjoyed this. He finally riled the little boy up enough for a fight.
"Don't mind if I do," he growled, dropping into a stance of his own and starting off with a roundhouse kick to his head.

He was going to make that asshole eat his words if it was the last damn thing he did.

But she had to keep trying, right?
"K-Kazuma-kun, please, stop!" she cried out, her voice not quite as loud as she'd hoped it would be.
The boy doubled over, gasping for breath ... and once he was, he found that there was a fist in his face again. The kid was fast ... he was having trouble keeping up, much to his chagrin. He'd really underestimated him.

He grabbed the kid by his hair, yanking him down so that his knee connected with the boy's chin, knocking him flat on his back on the ground where Kazuma jumped on him and pinned him to the ground.
"You think it's fun to harass people just because you think they're weaker than you?! Huh?! You have no idea what happened to Doumeki-san and you have NO RIGHT to talk about him that way!" he screamed, grabbing his collar and laying another one on his face. He was full of pent up rage, angered by everything that had happened and his inability to stop any of it. It was pure luck that Lopmon wasn't with him that day, keeping the digimon from dark evolving from his intense emotions.

"Kazuma-kun ..." she said softly, "That's enough. Please, you've made your point ..."
