"Of course I do!" She exclaimed, coming out from behind the archway, bearing a holiday dress. She had another outfit in her hands, one for Yuri. She waited until she was right in front of him, then placed a santa hat on his head, holding out the rest of the outfit in front of him.



"Okay, you can look now!"

Yuri blinked behind his hands when he felt the hat get deposited on his head, but he waited until Estelle told him he could open his eyes to do so. What he saw when he opened them took his breath away, and he stared at her for a moment.

"Wow," he said quietly, all but ignoring the outfit in her HANDS in favor of the one she was wearing.

Of course, Estelle remained ever oblivious of the fact that his eyes were more on her, and less on the outfit she'd chosen for him.

"I knew you'd like it! I saw these and thought it would be cute to match up for the holidays."

"Match?" Yuri asked, blinking, and looking at the outfit in her hands finally.

He stared at it for a moment, and he reached out to touch it carefully. "You know, I don't think I can wear this as well as you can," he said matter-of-factly. "But I'll give it a go."

He smiled up at Estelle. "That looks really good on you," he added.

She blushed at the comment. Estelle laughed a little, sheepishly. No matter how many times he complimented her, she couldn't help but get flustered.

"I-I'm sure you'll wear it just fine," she said softly, then handed the outfit to him, taking a seat next to him on the couch.

Yuri ducked his head and grinned in amusement. It was still terribly easy to get Estelle flustered. "You'd think I never complimented you at all with how much you stammer when I do," he teased, taking the clothes from her. He set them on his lap, and he put an arm around her. "It's still cute, y'know."

She pouted up at him a little.

"I can't help it!" Estelle protested, leaning a little against him and resting her head on his shoulder.

[vigilante_tamer]

"I'll just have to redouble my efforts to get you used to it, then," Yuri said pointedly, nuzzling against her hair lightly.

It was a wonderful, peaceful position they were in. He could really get used to this.

"Unwrap her!" a quiet voice said.

Estelle was pretty comfortable where she was with Yuri, too. She was beginning to relax a little more, sighing a little in her own comfort ...

... when she heard that voice.

And she blushed again. Darker, this time. She knew that the mistletoe had been following people around the digital world for the past day or so, and she and her family had been rather fortunate not to encounter one, but ... it seems now their luck had run out.

"What the hell...?" Yuri asked, lifting his head to look around.

"You heard me! Unwrap her! It's Christmas time! She's all wrapped up, so unwrap her and play with your gift!" the mistletoe called out, hanging above a doorway.

Yuri narrowed his eyes and looked up at the mistletoe. "Oh. Great," Yuri said drolly.

"And it was such a nice moment, too ..." Estelle murmured, sinking a little more into the couch, and, as a result, sinking a little more against Yuri's side.

"Let's have a moment of silent for our moment," Yuri said, getting annoyed. "HEY! Greenerie! Get outta here!"

"Make her squeal and moan, first! the mistletoe yelled back.

Estelle squeaked a little bit at the comeback from the mistletoe, trying to hide her face as it grew just a tad bit redder.

Well, the squealing part happened.

Yuri sighed, and he ducked his head and gave Estelle's neck a quick kiss. "This is gonna get annoying real quick," he said, nuzzling his lips against her. "Any ideas?"

"Too tamer! MORE! Take it off!"

Estelle froze up a little as Yuri kissed her, but she recovered quickly. She thought for a moment.

"Can't we boot it outside or something ..?" She murmured against his lips.

Yuri grinned against her lips, and he reached up to brush her hair, pulling off her hat and flicking it through the air at the mistletoe. "We can try, certainly," he told her.

The mistletoe got whacked with the hat and fell from where it was hanging, but it was undaunted. "You think you're gonna shut me up with a cap?! Come on, get the rest of that off her and show her your technique for going down! Forget the chimney, just go down!"
