In the midst of all the chaos, a blonde boy was walking so calmly through the mass of yelling and overexcited people that he was both easy to overlook, but incredibly hard not to watch once you'd noticed him.
On his head and shoulders rested an infant, who seemed to have fallen asleep and was sucking his thumb rhythmically as the boy stepped closer towards the area the two girls were situated, side stepping obstacles and just letting people bump against him, earning irritated noises from the sleeping babe.
Finally, he came up behind one of the Billys that was advancing on the girls. "You're in the way."
A slow silence seemed to flow in with the boy as everyone became very aware of his presence.
"Hana?" Sandy asked currently spread out between five Billys. Each one was clinging to a limb trying to pin her down while another had an arm around her neck in a chokehold. All five were so confused by the boys arrival they had stopped for a moment.
"He looks familiar." One noted.
The group that had been advancing on the counter where Tiffany lay breathing shallow as she clutched at her wound turned to face him.
"Hey wait...I remember him!"
"Yeah he's that pink haired she witches brother!"
That was all the Billys needed to go off of as one aimed a powerful kick for Hana, not caring that he was younger nor that he had a baby on his head.
Fisk had been shopping around with his Commandramon, looking for presents for the Wilybots. So far the shopping hadn't been going so well, and then came the Billys. The feline took cover quickly, hiding with his partner behind a shelf of books. Signaling to his partner, he sent her around to the other side of the shelf, making sure they two had both ends covered. She pulled out her M-16 assassin and he materialized the same weapon out of his D-Reader. It seemed today was going to be more eventful then he thought.
The Billy's were oblivious to Fisk and his partner as they set about ransacking and looting the place, Greed seals burning pleasantly on their foreheads like Christmas bulbs.
Fisk darted out from behind the bookshelf and over towards a lone Billy, looting one of the many other bookshelves. He covered the butt of his M-16 Assassin in camo green digisoul and whopped the Billy on the back of his head, hoping to knock the thief out.
Had Tiffany not been at the mall, Katherine would have missed the whole thing. As it was, it was her sentinel spell on her student that alerted her that something was amiss. She excused herself from the MAGI offices for lunch, insisted on taking Leormon out for a meal, and left in great haste.
Five minutes later, Silver Fury came sprinting down the street to the mall at superhuman speeds eclipsing four hundred miles per hour. The petrified doors of the mall were not an impedement to her. She stopped in front of them and without a second's hesitation light burst forth from her fist which she slammed into the door, shattering the stone and blasting shrapnel into the mall as though those doors had been struck by a wrecking ball.
"Your terror ends here, Numerous!" Silver Fury announced as she stepped into the mall, shields pulsing around her and light pouring from her eyesockets.
"That depends," Silver Fury stated, her obscured eyes taking in the scene of the mall, observing the placement and activities of the Billies. "How many of you are there? One hundred? One hundred fifty?"
She unfurled her wings like a hawk ready to strike, spreading them wide enough so that their tips reached from one side of the hallway to the other. "The only army I'm going to need is an army of doctors to put you all back together when I'm done," she announced, and she beat her wings once, lifting herself off the ground.
Rather than launch herself forward, she simply hovered there and launched a searing beam of light from her eyes straight towards the defiant Billy's face. It wasn't lethal, but that was perhaps the only saving grace THAT Billy would find.
The Billy let out a yelp as he was thrown from his feet and the others instantly turned upon Kat opening fire with their heat blasters and flinging heavy or sharp objects at her.
"Think you can scare us? We've seen what's really scary!"
"Yeah you ain't got nothing!"
considering some of the people that Billy had been beaten by in the last couple years Kat did seem rather tame in comparison. But that was a mistake to make.

That immediately brought the attention of several other Billy's in the area.

"Oh yeah? You and what army?" One called out defiantly.
