(
It has to have something to do with blondes, really. )
They laughed at him, and Quatre made his move, heading for the street a few yards beyond. But he didn't make it more than a few paces before one of them grabbed his arm, yanking him around and slamming him back into the wall. He slid down against the wall as his head began to spin. The small gang snickered as he tried to stand again. How on earth they'd snuck up on him in the first place was eluding him. But then again, most everything that required much thinking was beginning to elude him. He needed to get out of this damn alley, they'd be less likely to follow him then.
Ignoring his dislocated shoulder for the moment, he took a deep breath and pulled himself to his feet again. The world kept spinning, but he didn't dare close his eyes.
"I think he might want more, guys."
He bit back his own retort, he didn't need to make them mad on top of everything. Not when they were now blocking his only escape route.

He had quietly passed by the alley and almost missed what was going on, preoccupied with finding a place to stay until he got his barrings, but Hyokomon had tapped him on the shoulder and pointed with a wing. Even in the dim light of the alley, he could tell it was a very unfair fight.
Wordlessly, he nodded and snuck in to the alley, crouched low against the wall until he found a dumpster to crawl on top of, pulling himself up on to a broken fire escape ladder and on to the landing. The thugs were so preoccupied with the blonde that they didn't even hear him
Waiting from his vantage point, latched on to the railing from the outside, he looked for the right moment to strike. A few seconds passed, one of the attackers moving directly below him, and without a second thought he dropped down on top of him, using the falling momentum to drag him down to the ground backwards.
"You'd all do well to stop what you're doing right this second," he stated to the others, rolling to a crouch behind the now dazed thug.

"Oh, for Pete's sake, are you lot part of a boy band or somethin'?" One of them asked, giving Suoh a quick glance. "Blondie here is pretty much ready to fall over, you expect ta beat us by gettin' the jump on us?"
One hand wrapped around the end of the 2x4, Quatre shifted drawing one of the thug's attention back to him. "Shit..."
"Tha's right little mouse." One of them said, kicking the 2x4 away and pinning him by the throat against the wall. "Get rid of the new one, eh?" He said to his buddy and nodding towards Suoh.

A flick of the wrist and another thug would find himself disabled, pinned to the wall by his clothing. He was trying to be as non-lethal as possible, but considering how badly they'd already gotten to the blonde boy he wasn't sure how much it was going to take to actually get them to back off. Still, he didn't want it to come to that.
"Please, leave him alone. This doesn't have to end badly."

Quatre swept the leader's feet out from under him and forced himself to his feet. "I'd listen to him." He told the man hoarsely, placing his foot on the man's throat.
"Why you little--"
The ex-pilot pressed down a little harder so the man would get the message. He didn't want to hurt the man, probably couldn't at the moment given he was only standing due to the adrenaline running through his system. But it didn't mean he wouldn't threaten him.
He could feel the rest of the gang's uncertainty as they looked at each other, then at the two boys. If given the option, they at least would turn tail and run. Their leader had too much pride though. "I think it'd be in everyone's best interests if you all just left, your leader isn't going anywhere."
They nodded, picked up their wounded and disappeared, leaving Quatre, Suoh, and the gang leader in the alley. Quatre carefully backed away, not taking his eyes off the man.

"That was unfortunate..." he sighed, straightening his jacket and looking at Quatre. Now that the threat was over, he was able to get a better look at the boy. It wasn't his eyes playing tricks on him, he really did look like Nokoru...
Of course there were differences. Noticeable ones, now that he was looking, and this one was quite possibly even younger than Nokoru, maybe even younger than Suoh himself, but it certainly had looked like his dear friend at a distance.
He was staring. He was staring, and doing nothing about the fact that the boy clearly needed medical attention. Suoh shook his head sharply to clear his muddled thoughts.
"You... need a doctor, I believe," he said uncertainty, "Is there some place I can take you?"

He put a smile on his face and looked at the other boy. Golden eyes, blue black hair, maybe a little older than himself. "Thanks...I just need to..." The words seemed to drift away from him as his knees gave out and he slumped against the wall.

"That certainly doesn't look like 'fine'. I'll ask a local for directions if I must..."

"Its...just a concussion, a dislocated shoulder, and some bruising...but if you insist, we're at the blinking red dot. The highlighted building is the hospital."

For now, though, he took the comm from Quatre, gazing out on to the street for a moment to mentally compare streets and landmarks between the two. Once he was sure he had an idea of where they were going he put his arm around Quatre, under his arms, and started the slow walk out to the street and to the hospital.
"I'm sorry... I just realized I never introduced myself," he said after they'd been walking awhile, during a pause for him to check the map again. "I'm Takamura Suoh."

"How much farther is it? I think I may have...misjudged my injuries slightly..." Quatre said in a whisper.

Suoh paused, adjusting his stance slightly to keep Quatre from completely toppling over. Dead weight was never easy to carry, no matter how strong one might be, and it was getting difficult for him to even walk properly like that. Unfortunately he was starting to feel a little lost despite the map. A hospital should have been obvious, but he was new, and really didn't know WHAT he was looking for. It could have looked like anything, and that desperate, worried sensation at being lost was setting in and making him lose common sense.
Luckily Hyokomon seemed to realize this and gently tapped on the back of his head, pointing with a wing at a large building. The "Neon General" sign was slightly obscured by some bushes and a tree at that angle, but once he looked at it he realized they were right where they needed to be.
"We should be there in a minute," he nodded certainly, straightening and pulling Quatre along.

At Neon General. Will be okay.
He sent it to Duo, Saghid, and Dart upon coming to the conclusion that if Duo wasn't paying attention to his DComm, Dart might be able to get the message to him. Why he'd come to that conclusion he wasn't sure. His head hurt too much to think, and he just wanted to curl up and go to sleep, even though he knew he shouldn't.

"Ow! What the hell, Duo?"
"... fuck. Quatre's here."
Greg blinked, looking over Duo's shoulder at the message.
"... its the day before Halloween, not Friday the 13th. What the hell is with everyone's bad luck today?"
"Hell if I know," Duo growled angrily, snapping his comm shut and stalking off to go look for him. Greg hesitated, but followed.
Suoh had gone to the front desk to check Quatre in, giving all (read: barely any) information he could possibly give. Still they seemed surprisingly used to this, and ordered the medical staff to bring out a stretcher, putting Quatre on it just as Suoh returned to him. He didn't really have anywhere to go, after all, and wasn't about to leave without finding out he'd be alright.
"Quatre!" an unfamiliar voice called out. Suoh turned to see a boy about the same age, bolting over to the gurney just as they were starting to roll away. There was another, older man behind him, bandage on his head and frowning in worry, but he hung back silently. "What the hell happened to you?! This doesn't look "okay"! And where the hell is your partner?!"

"Can I tell you later...?" He pleaded, willing the pounding in his head to at least calm down long enough to have a half decent conversation. "I'm sorry..."

"Sorry, sir. We need to move him..." one of the orderlies said gruffly. Duo's words trailed off, forced to stand there as they wheeled his friend away.
"Duo... calm down... I'm sure it's not that bad..." Greg offered gently, putting a hand on the younger boy's shoulder.
Suoh watched all this, worried and hesitant to get involved. They were Quatre's friends, after all. He was just a new arrival who happened to stop the beating before it went too far.
Still, they deserved to know...
"Excuse me..." he finally interjected, getting both to look at him curiously. Although in Duo's case it was a cross between anger and curiosity. Of course the scrawny American wasn't even remotely intimidating to some one like Suoh, but he found himself gulping instinctively anyway. This was a delicate matter, and anger fueled by the desire to avenge a friend often made people do unexpected things. He bowed slightly. "I saved your friend from a mob of thugs that were harassing him. I'm sorry I didn't get there sooner to keep him from getting hurt."
"... and you are?" Greg said, raising an eyebrow.
"Takamura Suoh. I... actually just arrived in this world today."
"Oh. Well... damn, nice welcome..." Greg huffed, "Sorry. I'm Greg Sanders, this is Duo Maxwell. We're friends of Quatre... and... Duo is a little over protective of his friend, so you'll have to ignore him if he gets pissy."
Duo grunted when Greg gave his shoulder a little shake as a threat to keep calm. He scowled, but mumbled "Thanks for helping him..." under his breath.
