Katherine sat in the spacious lobby of the MAGI building. She had a large book open in her lap, and a legal pad was floating in front of her. She was busily flipping through pages and scribbling down notes as she waited for Philip's arrival. Her partner, Leormon, sat patiently at the tall front desk in front of a pair of large double doors.
Kat seemed utterly engrossed in her work, but she glanced up at the door every so often as she waited for Philip's arrival.
