Dr. Tenenbaum walked onto the archery course and looked around. It seemed put together well enough, not that she knew exactly what archery ranges were meant to look like of course. She watched Doumeki and Sarasim for a moment, not wanting to interrupt.

Doumeki looked up from talking with Sarasim, offering a gentle smile in Tenembaum's direction as he motioned her over.

"Some one came, Dou-kun!" Moro bounced happily on Doumeki's shoulder.

"I can see that, Moro. Shush."

"... OH WAIT I KNOW HER! HI NICE LADY!"

"... that's not being quiet, Moro."

Tenenbaum nodded and moved towards Doumeki at his motion. When she heard Moro speaking, she did smile a bit. She did remember that digimon.

"Hello to you little one. I see you really did enjoy those cookies." She turned back to Doumeki before speaking next.

"I do require the appropriate supplies."

"I did I did! Can I have more?!"

"Moro," Doumeki warned with a tired sigh, heading over to the equipment rack to pick up a quiver and bow for her.

"It's Western style, but I think I can manage some lessons well enough."

Tenenbaum smiled at Moro as Doumeki sighed.

"I believe Goblimon is baking brownies today. Maybe later I can give you some."

She followed the archery teacher over to the racks and eyes the bow and quiver with interest.

"Very well. Shall we begin then?" she holds out her hands, ready to take the bow and quiver.

"YAY BROWNIES!" Moro shrieked rather loudly, getting a wince from Doumeki.

"Moro, sit down and behave. Please," he practically begged his hyperactive partner. She pouted, but bounced off his shoulder and did as she was told.

"Whenever you're ready then."

Tenenbaum moved over so she was in line with one of the targets. She slung the quiver over her shoulder and held up the bow. Taking an arrow, she placed it at the string and held it up. It was obvious from how she moved and the way she held it bow she had never done this before. Total beginner here.

Doumeki stepped back and studied her stance and posture for a moment, eventually moving back up and repositioning her arms a little.

"Straighter stance. Face your body almost completely West but turn your head towards the target."

Tenenbaum nodded and adjusted her stance. She fired the arrow and it flew towards the target in a somewhat wobbly fashion. It hit the edge of the target and stuck at least.

Doumeki quirked an eyebrow at that, mildly impressed.

"Not bad," he nodded, "The strength in the strike comes from the forearm, not the upper arm and biceps. Most don't realize that because it's not a muscle often worked."

Tenenbaum nodded as her mind went of the mechanics of it in her mind. It made logical sense. She loaded yet another arrow and using the stance she was taught, fired again. This arrow flew with less wobble but flew over the target.

"I believe I will need much more training. Do you give private lessons?"

Oops.

Well, points for trying.

"I've never given lessons before. That's not saying I can't, though."

Tenenbaum looked at Doumeki with a blank look.

"I can pay you for your time."

"You don't have to. I make plenty working security..."

Tenenbaum stared at Doumeki with curiosity for a moment. Most would want some sort of compensation.

"Is there no compensation I can give you for your time?"

"Psssst. Dou-kuuuun... Dou-kun!" Moro tried to 'discretely' get Doumeki's attention. The teen barely glanced over his shoulder. "Cookies!"
