Quick rarely came to Tetha - he didn't like that he couldn't run to and from the place, but had to take a lightpost; it made the place too much like a trap - but was here today on business. Okay, that was only partly true. He could have just sent the papers he had to Jinx over the D-comm, but bringing them in person gave him the chance to peek in on Crash at work.
Anyway, with that on his mind, he couldn't help but notice Ryuunosuke dressed up. Smirking to himself, he changed course toward them. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to work at the tea shop, would you?"
Ryuunosuke looked up as he heard footsteps come toward him and V-Mon. He lowered his head, hiding his eyes beneath veil he wore to help hide his eyes. V-Mon looked away as this new person started to come toward them.
The disguised young man had to think fast to answer the man. Should he talk or keep quiet? His practice with a female voice had been slow goings. He should start off just keeping quiet.
Quick couldn't remember ever meeting an actual shy person and that only made Ryuunosuke more interesting. "You're a first then. Kinda strange if you think about it, so many outgoing people get brought here. Then again, maybe all the nonsocial are hiding away. Guess that'd make you the most social nonsocial person around," he joked, wondering if he break that 'shy person barrier.'
If Ryuunosuke could laugh, he would. While of the original team he was not the most social, he wasn't anti-social at all. He was just devoted to his lord, that's all.
But the kabuki actor stayed quiet. All he could really do was give a slightly nod in acknowledgment. It wasn't like he liked not talking, he just didn't know who was friend and who was foe. Who was "from" Tetha and who was a guest.
Not one to give up so easily, Quick pushed on. "So what are you doing up here? It's not the safest place to go for a walk."
If he'd know the person in front of him was purposely staying quiet, then he'd- well, there'd be a lot more poking and prodding instead of just talking.
Ryuunosuke tried to think of an answer, let alone how to answer. This was not easy to try and keep this facade with this guy asking all these questions. Why was he making this so hard.
"We're here not only to visit some people, but because we were told that this place has the best view of the digital world at sunset," V-mon answered for Ryuunosuke. The origami-turned-digimon was lucky that he was able to make his voice go just slightly higher, but high enough to disguise his voice.
Quick turned toward the digimon, considering the answer. "Oh. Okay." Now it was his turn to not have much to say, though he did still wonder one thing. "Is she mute or something?"
"She's not mute," V-Mon explained, "She doesn't talk to people she doesn't know often. I often have to talk for her until she actually knows the people."
Ryuunouske nodded, as if to say that was right. He pulled out a fan delicately, trying to keep as much of his hand hidden. Opening the fan, it was held over his lips as he slowly lifted the veil over his face. Luckily, his makeup hid most of his masculine features.
"Well that's.... odd." He shrugged it off though. He certainly wasn't the most normal person either. "Anyway, if you're going to watch the sunset, don't get too close to the edge. I've heard of people getting knocked off and I doubt any of the digimon around here care to catch those that do."
Ryuunosuke nodded some. He knew one of those people who was knocked off the edge of Tetha. She was currently down in Asuka recovering from some knew wounds and exhaustion that she had recently received. He had saved her when she had fallen months before.
"We've heard of the warnings. We'll be sure to be careful," V-Mon nodded.
The person probably didn't see it but when he turned and started walking off, Ryuunosuke visibly relaxed and released a breath he didn't know he was holding. He wanted to talk, but hadn't wanted to risk it. It was hard to keep his facade when people tried to talk with him.
Ryuunosuke heard the whistle and flinched. It hurt his ears to hear that, as did it with V-Mon. He knew that something wasn't right as they stopped. How were they gonna pull this off?
V-Mon turned toward the Peckmon as Ryuunosuke turned slightly, fan still in hand. He covered from his nose down with it and gazed at the digital monster.
Anyway, with that on his mind, he couldn't help but notice Ryuunosuke dressed up. Smirking to himself, he changed course toward them. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to work at the tea shop, would you?"

A Peckmon with a whistle galloped up to Ryuunosuke.
"Stop right there!"
