Who: Doumeki, [Open]
What: Shaking off a data freeze with a little archery practice
When: Sep 8, afternoon
Where: The back courtyard of the Hyperion, a make-shift archery range
A Data-Freeze certainly was an interesting, if not slightly disconcerting experience. Especially when it turned out that so many others in the Hyperion were in the same place. It felt strange waking up from it, as though he'd simply dozed off standing up and woke several days later.
Finding that Watanuki and Zashiki Warashi were in still in that state when he woke, and that Ame Warashi and Nadeko were currently away from the apartments, Doumeki decided there was no sense in waiting around the apartment for them to wake. He did, however, carry Watanuki to their bedroom and put him in bed so he wouldn't topple over when he finally did come out of it.
Grabbing up his archery gear after changing, he headed down to the make-shift range that he and Sarasim had set up in the large Hyperion court yard some time back.
Shooting helped him work out the kinks in his joints and the dull ache in his shoulders that had settled in over the time of being frozen, but he was finding that he was out of practice as it was. He no longer had time to practice every day like he did back in school, and his shots were often veering off to the right just enough to be an annoyance.
With a slowly released breath, he let another arrow fly at the standing target, only to find that it, too, was off. A sigh brought the slightest of annoyed frowns to his lips as he stared at it.
Maybe something else was bothering him...
