The Bar and Karaoke stage

A small set up had been put together off to one side with not only a fully stocked minibar with Goblimon to tend it, but a Karaoke stage...because it just wouldn't be a Hyperion party without music.

Cleaning out a glass the snappy dressed Digimon was ready to handle any amount of drink orders so long as it kept the people happy.

One such party guest was Red Riding Hood watching her partner Strabimon perform while she sampled some of the more crisp and refreshing alcoholic beverages on hand.

The wolf was making flirtatious eyes at any female in sight as he sang.

Red couldn't help but sway and dance to the beat even by herself, it was infectious and Strabimon wasn't that bad a singer.

Dr. Tenenbaum sat at the bar, a drink in her hand. Goblimon was over by the pool having fun while she was here, relaxing. She couldn't help but hope to see a familiar face at this event, but part of her expected for that to not happen.

It may be here lucky night, as stumbling out into the evening air was a familiar furry head being led by a loud blocky companion.

"Come on now we're supposed to be enhancing the sensitivity on the security cameras.' Kats insisted but T.A would have no part of it, "Work tomorrow, party now!" She ordered.

The voices caught her attention and Tenenbaum turned to see Kats and T.A. She slowly stood and waved at the pair, a half smile on her face.

Kats perked up and wandered over with a smile, "I should come visit more often, it seems I've been so caught up in my work we don't get to see each other as much." He remarked apologetically.

T.A simply seized a bottle from Goblimon (With only a little struggle) and waddled off in the direction of the tubs.

Tenenbaum smiled.

"It is alright. Perhaps I could come visit you. I do not get out much, unfortunately. How have you been, Kats?"

"I'm not sure how my roommates would feel about that." Chuckled Kats, "Being wanted criminals and all they tend to be erm...private, but I'll make more of an effort to visit I promise." He smiled sweetly and added, "I've been very well, that project I was working on when we spoke at the prom came to completion in a different but equally satisfying end. Yourself?"

Tenenbaum sighed.

"Well, yet bored. I have had no communication with DATS. I am thinking a career in another field may be what I wish to do. Goblimon is his old self again, so that is quite nice."

^_^; Have you tried contacting someone OOC about her employment?

Kats blanched a little, "W-well that may be for the best...I mean...if you really wanted to work with DATS that's still worth working towards but erm..." He looked around to make sure no one was listening in, "They've been rather busy..." He whispered, "There's a massive and powerful weapon pointed at The Royal Base and they're doing their best to quell an all out war...I could understand if they are perhaps a little distracted."

Not yet, i wanted to see how she would fair jobless for a while. XD I will do that tonight.

"I see. I would rather not be involved in yet another war. Perhaps there is other employment for me then. I do wonder if the war will reach us here in Neon."

Tenenbaum looked up into the sky with a thoughtful face. It seemed war followed her everywhere, war and science. What a combination.

pffft, I can't imagine her working at the Mc. Donalds

"It's entirely possible...the city of Tetha and the City of Neon have long been co-operative with one another...but the war seems based around the leader of Tetha going a little..." He spun a finger around next to his head in the universal sign for crazy.

"There are Tamers still living there who are under siege by the leader, and I know that DATS has pledged to help as much as they can without making things worse...it's a mess frankly." He sighed and sipped his drink, "So far this little slice of heaven has remained safe however." He was referring to the Hyperion and smiled reassuringly at Tenenbaum.

Tenenbaum looked back to Kats and smiled.

"Yes. It seems so. I suppose all we can do is wait and see. So then, I am glad to hear your expedition was a success. I assume everyone succeeded unharmed." She felt a change of subject was needed. War was a dry subject anyway.

"Ah yes well...I would call it a success." He grinned sheepishly and then sighed, "I...don't feel comfortable being so discreet with you, the project was freeing an comrade of my associates from prison transport. While I do not particularly care for the bot his comrades whom I live with have done well by me." He looked concerned as though she may disapprove of his less then legal task.

Tenenbaum nodded. She could easily understand. She did work with the smugglers and Fontaine in Rapture. Sometimes one needed to operate outside the law.

"I understand. I have too done things that would be declared illegal and immoral. Sometimes in order to do the right thing, laws need be broken. You were justified in my eyes."

Kat's smile grew warmer, "Thank you for understanding, I've spent enough time in the morally gray areas I sometimes worry about how I appear to others...particularly those I enjoy spending time with." His fur suddenly felt hot again and he looked away embarrassed.
