Up on the roof the dark skinned warrior Sarasim was for a change of pace (Sarcastic tone goes here) training

"So I hear this place has its share of trouble makers knocking at its doors. Is that true?" A voice suddenly came from behind Sarasim. The voice in particular belonged to the Hyperion's newest resident, a raven haired woman by the name of Shanoa.

Sarasim turned and her eyes settled on the new woman, she looked strong of spirit, a fighter to be sure but what type was undecided. She had only heard there was a new resident from her security briefings nothing more.

"Like all homes in the digital world it is in need of protection, and with so many of our residents being performers and not singers it falls to those who can to stand up for them." Sarasim explained.

"By which she means yes, there are plenty of troublemakers." Kudamon called from a lawn chair set up on the other side of the air conditioning unit. While Sarasim had been training Kudamon had been reading a trashy romance novel under an umbrella.

"Hey is that the new book in the series?" Witchmon asked as she poked her head around the conditioner and looked down at Kudamon's book. "I can't believe there are people who still read that."

"I'm sorry, I should reintroduce myself," Shanoa began. "My name is Shanoa, a demon hunter of sorts."

"However, she doesn't just kill demons though. She does poltergeists, vampires, werewolves... well just about any kind of monster really. They don't even have to be supernatural either!" Witchmon suddenly interrupted her tamer.

Shanoa patiently waited until her partner was finished with only a slight look of annoyance on her face, "Thank you Witchmon, may now continue?" Witchmon smiled sheepishly and sat down next to Kudamon. "I heard you were part of the security force of this residence, I came up here to see what I could learn from you. I believe we've spoken to each other before over the D-comms, am I right Miss Sarasim?"

Kudamon looked up from the book and over the top of her tiny sunglasses at Witchmon, "I have a weakness for badly written love stories, it makes the well written ones that much better." She explained.

Sarasim nodded relaxing a little once the introduction was had, "I recall that, it's a pleasure to meet you in person, though I'm not sure how much you can learn from me, I am a warrior."

"Yeah we've never busted any vampires or werewolves, we did beat up some Bakemon once." Kudamon chimed in.

"The most dangerous threat we've had to deal with are technological and human based." Sarasim pointed out, "Doctor Eggman and Alyssa are by far the highest on the most wanted list and we've had brushes with both."

"Brushes nothing, Alyssa almost destroyed the hotel on a whim." Kudamon sighed.

"Wait, you mean that war machine that attacked the Hyperion right? I thought her name was Miria..." Witchmon spoke up.

"It is nice to meet you in person as well," The vampire hunter nodded in return. "However, I'm afraid you misunderstand me, I already know how to fight proficiently. I was hoping to learn more about the enemies of the residents here and what I can do to help protect them. As with this Alyssa character you spoke about, what can you tell me of her?" Shanoa explained.

"Ah that's just what she wanted you to think." Kudamon chuckled.

"At the time we all did...I only know what I have from my briefing at DATS, Kudamon is particularly good at navigating their systems..." Sarasim looked gratefully to her partner.

"No more difficult then looking for a library book really." Kudamon shrugged it off.

"It seems they are sisters in a way...but one holds extreme malice and hatred for organics...particularly those who associate with Miria meaning a few of the residents of our Inn." Sarasim continued, "Continued conflict with them has brought her closer and closer to our home but as of late she hasn't made much trouble."

"Other then that most the big bads focus their attention elsewhere." Kudamon set her book down and took a sip from a can of soda, "We just have to deal with whatever dangers pop up around Neon...giant monsters, zombies, that sort of thing."

"Damn, it must be rough for her when half the digital world still thinks your evil," Witchmon commented rather pointlessly.

Meanwhile, Shanoa had something completely different on her mind. "Regardless, even if the big players so far have avoided attacking this place regularly, does not mean there are smaller threats to worry about." Shanoa replied. "What can you tell me of this Alyssa's abilities. Also if you don't mind, would you mind telling me about these other incidents as well?"

((OOC: Sorry to keep asking you about my own character.))

Sarasim nodded, "Well all that's been made available is that she's a war machine, guns, lasers, missiles, plasma weapons...far more advanced then anything I've ever used."

"She also likes to go after people close to those she hates...I guess she figures it hurts them more to see those they love suffer or something." Kudamon sighed. She hated talking shop.

"I see..." Shanoa spoke, rubbing her chin a little as she thought.

"That one may be a little out of our league, Shanoa," Witchmon commented while giving her tamer a wary look.

Shanoa turned her head just enough towards Witchmon to look at the digimon through the corner of her eye, and smirked slightly. "Well we will never know until we try."

Witchmon suddenly stood straight up, and slapped her hands down on the air conditioner unit, "Don't make me go call Kat, and tell her that you're seeking your deathwish again!"

Sarasim smirked, "Your enthusiasm not withstanding...it will take a pretty big brawler to bring her down. Her incident count rises every so often and she causes enough damage in each one to make her a more then viable threat..." Sarasim tucked a finger to her chin in thought, "DATS has been so preoccupied lately with...something bigger." She avoided specifics, "That they can't form up teams to go hunting down the threats one by one."

Sorry about being so dang late with this.

"Aren't they always preoccupied with something bigger?" Witchmon spoke up again. "I mean, the only time I've ever seen one of their teams in action is during a large scale attack. They don't seem to have any time for the little stuff..."

Shanoa shook her head at her partner's comments, "that is enough Witchmon, they must have their reasons." She then turned back to Sarasim, "I am sorry about that, my partner has been getting so much more bold in her statements since an incident a while back. Regardless, I was wondering. I see you have been training, would appreciate a sparing partner?"

Kudamon waved her paw dismissively at Witchmon "Take it to the boys in management who make the decisions, I just go where they tell me and I follow her where she goes."

Sarasim ignored the digimon's behavior and smiled politely at Shanoa "A sparring partner is always appreciated. It's more fun with one."
