THIS time, finally, Alicia wasn't able to summon up a burst of energy strong enough to deflect the binding spell. So as it locked around her, she gave a gasp, though she still tried to struggle.

"Nanoha...! This... this won't work! Do you think you're just going to be able to fly away from here?!"

"Like hell I'm gonna let that happen! SMARTER BURN!"

A loud voice rang out, just before multiple streams of flame began to rain down at Nanoha. Flames summoned by none other than Agito.

Alicia fell to the ground with a small thud. She groaned, trying to get back up and summon the will to keep fighting... when there was a bolt of light.

Namely, pink light, as several Accel Shooters streaked past the young Nanoha as warning shots.

And they were sent by...

Well.

ANOTHER young Nanoha, who was floating in the air opposite Agito.

"Nanoha-chan!" she shouted, her voice coming off as a touch more commanding than any girl her seeming age would generally have any business with. "STOP THIS NOW!"

Leppamon jumped down out a nearby window, landing in front of Alicia and standing in front of her protectively, meanwhile.

Agito grit her teeth, and flew up alongside Nanoha.

"Keep her distracted," she remarked, pointing behind Nanoha... and at Fladramon, who was moving up behind her counterpart.

Nanoha grit her teeth, fingerless gloves gripping tightly around Raising Heart's shaft.

[Notice, Master: The time we have been reverted to puts us both at a disadvantage. Your physical condition--]

"Noted," Nanoha cut her off. She knew this well; she had been feeling old wounds a bit more distinctly than she had in years these past few days. She was the same age she was when she first came to the Digital World... and after the terrible injury that nearly crippled her.

"We have to finish this quickly and decisively," she stated. "That ... man's reprogramming has gone even deeper than we thought..."

She clenched her jaw. THIS... was enough to make her ill.

And in retrospect, she owed Daigo a punch. Just for the fact that he'd gotten closer to sight and contact with anyone else tied closely to that monster than she had.

"Buster Mode! LOAD CARTRIDGE!"

[Buster Mode. Cartridge Load.]

In a flash, Raising Heart changed into a cannon-like mode, which burst with bright pink wings of energy as she leveled it at her duplicate.

Agito watched Nanoha with concern, but once the beams clashed against one another, she nodded in her partner's direction.

"FIRE KNUCKLE!" roared the dragon, firing off a flaming blast at the other Nanoha.

Nanoha stayed steady as the yellow and pink beams collided. She kept the energy flow even and steady, not willing to give an inch at this point... Not when this girl was going after Alicia.

"We won't let you go back to that person..." she muttered, Digi-Soul starting to rise up around her. "I wish we could get you to listen... to understand... You can't take Alicia-chan back, not when she doesn't want to leave... She's just as much family as anyone else I care about... We'll protect her, and you too, whether you understand it or not!"

The Digi-Soul burst off of her, and traveled down the path of her Divine Buster beam, where it met her doppleganger's. "AND WE WILL MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT!"

Alicia looked out from around Leppamon, staring up at the "older" Nanoha.

"Miss... Nanoha..."

She frowned, looking down. That she had ever tried to do such a horrible thing to that person, and yet never hear even the slightest scolding or bad word from her about it...

She heard something behind her, and saw PawnChessmon had made it out of the building. And... well, he wasn't the only one, as a crowd of personnel from the medical ward was gathering to watch.

"Alright!" shouted Agito. "Now let's finish her off!"

Fladramon, however, hesitated. He wasn't quite sure what to do now...

"Hold back!" Nanoha demanded, looking back and forth between Agito and Fladramon. "Either of you beating her like this wouldn't help her..."

She took off after her "younger" counterpart with a burst of power. "I'm not even sure ME doing it would..." she muttered, and flew up closer. "Nanoha-chan! This is senseless!"
