Who: Haku, Doumeki, Onizuka, partners, (Greg and Gomamon later)
What: Distance is suppose to make the heart grow fonder. But what happens when that heart is broken?

Where: Neon City - Hyperion
Doumeki really shouldn't have been released yet, but he had called Haku and told her to come get him anyway. He had checked himself out, against doctor's orders, but he was simply too restless to stay there. Needlessly to say his doctor was less than impressed, but he left with a promise to take it easy and try to rest as much as possible.
When Haku showed up, though, she was noticeably worried about him, having to help him walk from the front door to the Denali and aid him in getting inside, but she didn't ask why he'd done what he had.
Unfortunately that made the ride back to Neon incredibly quiet.
As soon as they were at the Hyperion, Haku parked the car, but didn't move to get out.
"... what about your things, Dou-kun?" she asked softly. Doumeki shook his head, and Haku smiled at him sadly, "I don't think I can keep borrowing clothes from Nick nii-chan."
"I really don't want to go back," Doumeki sighed.
"I know..." Haku nodded. A pause, then, "I'll get your things tomorrow."
Silent, Doumeki nodded his thanks, and they got out, heading inside and up to their apartment. He was already starting to feel tired again, and leaned against the smaller Vocaloid heavily. Once at the door, Haku knocked to announce their arrival and nudged it open with her foot.
"Eikichi, we're home!"
