"Y'know, I always pegged ya a bit smarter than all that," said a voice from across the street. "Though, guess you can't be TOO bright if you hang around that blue-furred joker..."
"Smarter than all what? You've got a quick means to escape, with that teleporter all of you seem to have, and several allies. You have, by that means, a way to get to me wherever I go." She smirked. "So what would I rather do? Get attacked in my lonely office, or in a street brimming with eyewitnesses?"
She swept her hair over her shoulder.
"I think I know what you want by now, Scourge. Want to skip the petty introductions and get to it?"
Scourge pushed his sunglasses up on his nose. "Heh. Feisty. I like that, at least."
Without even waiting for much more of a prompt, BlackTerriermon jumped off the hedgehog's shoulders, gliding up above Sally & PawnChessmon, before unleashing a flurry of little fireballs from his mouth. "BLAZING FIRE!"
PawnChessmon responded in kind, holding up her shield to block the attacks. Not one to just stand around, Sally used her D-Reader's shield, not moving an inch.
"PawnChessmon, follow suit!" Sally ordered from behind the shield, watching her partner nod and light surround her as well.
KnighChessmon emerged, aiming her large lance to intercept BlackGaogamon.
Meanwhile, Sally focused on her D-Reader, looking for some kind of weapon to use (and hoping that the Tetha police force wasn't so corrupt that they'd let this go on for long).
BlackGaogamon yelped, avoiding being skewered, but still being whacked by the lanced and knocked onto his side a short distance away. He growled and picked himself up, focusing on the Digimon now. "HOWLING BLOW!" he roared, unleashing what was practically a tornado from his maw.
Scourge, meanwhile, chuckled, rubbing his hands together as he approached Sally. "You're outta your league, girlie."
KnightChessmon responded by holding her ground...and keeping her dart out. The tornado ripped around - and through - her, pushing her back and scratching her body. She did not fall, though hurt she was.
Sally remained behind her shield, smiling in return. "Really, Scourge? Even though in a second, I can have the entire Tactical Squad here with the push of a button?"
A lie. She could call them, but she didn't know how many would show up - though the point was she could easily bring in reinforcements.
Scourge scoffed, shrugging as he pointed at her. "Maybe. But can you do that before I bust through that crappy barrier and finish what I came her for?" he asked... before dashing straight at it. He jumped up, spinning into a ball, and coming down towards the shield in a spinning attack. As he did this, also... purple, flame-like Dark Digi-Soul erupted around his body.
BlackGaogamon snarled, running up to KnightChessmon, striking out in order to keep her from interfering with Scourge. "DASH DOUBLE CLAW!"
The shattering shield bounced Scourge back, and he landed on the street, skidding backwards for a moment to a stop. He gave a sadistic chuckle, cracking his knuckles as he started to advance again.
"Heh! Looks like y'got SOME spunk, anyway... I like that."
BlackGaogamon grinned, jumping up and trying to slash KnightChessmon across the helmeted face with a single claw.
"Please don't," Sally replied with a dry voice. "I'd rather not throw up right now."
She forced digi-soul into the sword, digi-soul sparkling a very golden-brown.
KnightChessmon, however, could not withstand this attack. She fell completely, and Sally twitched her head, but not turned it. She kept her focus on Scourge.
BlackGaogamon's eyes widened as his tornado slammed into the Castle Wall... and found himself blasted BACK by his own attack. He flew back, skidding along the ground and barely stopping himself from slamming straight into a building behind him. "Lousy frickin'..."
The spinning Scourge came slamming down, right into Sally's sword, the energy of his Digi-Soul buffering him from the blade and being the only thing keepingh im from being, well... sliced in half.

"BlackTerriermon, EVOLVE!"

He ran forward, front claws glowing with energy as he leapt up, slashing them down towards PawnChessmon and the shielded Sally.
"DASH DOUBLE CLAW!"

Sally then braced herself, jumping back as not to get hit by Scourge's attack, and realizing a sword of all things (because she refused to use a gun).
She wasn't going to mention that she got her message out, though, because that would alert Scourge to the hopefully arriving help.
KnightChessmon took the attack, stumbling backwards.

But her partner...
Hold on just a little, KnightChessmon.

"Ha!" Scourge shot upon seeing her Digi-Soul flare out. "Well, y'know what they say, business before pleasure!"
He shot up into the air, spinning into another Digi-Soul charged homing attack, and came down straight at her.

And just before BlackGaogamon's attack hit, KnightCheessmon evolved into RookChessmon. She put up a Castle Wall to protect against the tornado.
Sally knew she would probably be hit by Scourge's attack, but to hopefully harm him as well she slashed as he approached.
