"Well, too bad, because you're about to be stopped for good," said a voice.

The words came from a red, blue, and yellow robot, standing dramatically on a nearby wall.

That is, until Tsukaimon got an idea and pushed him off of it.

"AUGH!" Metal Man shouted, face planting into tin trash can.

Cruger turned when he heard the robot's voice, only to watch as he was unceremoniously dumped into the trash can.

"...is he serious?" Labramon said, cocking an eyebrow.

"I doubt it, but it's best to stay on your guard." Cruger said. "Really, if you're going to get the drop on me, you shouldn't pull such a stunt like that."

Metal Man cut his way free, chucking the piece of tin at Cruger and then shaking his face in anger.

"IT'S NOT MY FAULT MY PARTNER'S AN ASSHOLE!" he screamed.

"Tut tut, you're the biggest influence on your partner's life after all~" A voice purred from above.

Lounging on a staff with an odd shaped hook on top like a question mark, riding it like a witch on a broom was an oddly dressed woman with a smiling mask.

She hovered over the duo and peered closer at Metal Man, "Hmm...nope you're not on the list, but it wouldn't be right to let this duo avoid being a threesome." She declared.

Cruger's confused look quickly turned into a glare. They were both after him. And the newcomer had mentioned a list... everyone who'd been attacked was chosen, then.

"If you think I'm going to give up that easily, you got another thing coming." he said, allowing himself to quickly grab his morpher. "I've faced tougher threats than you two. If you want me... come and get me."

With that, he thrusted his morpher out. "SPD! EMERGENCY!" A flash of light, and the humanoid dog was replaced by a spandex-like wearing figure. "SPD SHADOW RANGER!" At the same time, Labramon evolved into Dobermon

"... was it really neccessary for that to be so elaborate?" Tsukaimon asked, staring at Cruger.

Metal Man turned and looked at Theresa, snarling. "This is my bounty. Buzz off, you oddly dressed weirdo."

The woman put a hand up to her mouth like a polite noble as she laughed.

"Oh ho ho ho, so that's how it is? Fine then pointy go get him!"

And with that she seized her staff and swung it in the air under her, green energy bursting from the tip and shaping into a hammer as she tried to slam Metal man in Cruger's Direction.

Noticing the newcomer's attack, Cruger prepared himself, getting a running start then jumping in the air, landing on another perch opposite of the woman, Dobermon leaping wall to wall to do so.

"This is nuts! What have we done to you? I've never seen you before, more or less heard of you." Cruger said.

Metal Man let out a waugh sound, before using his arm blade and slamming it into the ground, using it to stop his forward momentum.

"We're here for a bounty, numbskull," growled Metal Man. "Just thank the stars or whatever you're important enough to get beat up!"

He threw out several Metal Blades, three each sent at Cruger and Theresa.

Theresa dodged with ease her staff carrying her up over the blade as it whirled off into the air.

"Hound dogs worth a pretty penny, and I bet we could get some soda money for recycling your worthless tin butt!" She called down to Metal, her eyes gleaming from behind the mask.

"NOW!" She called.

A flash of light from an adjacent building and Dracmon transformed into Deltamon firing Energy beams from all three of his heads at the robot, power ranger and Digimon.

"Dobermon, watch out!" Cruger shouted.

"I got this, big dog!" Dobermon replied. "Schwartz Strahl" Turning his attention to Deltamon, he fired the burst of energy to counter the one shot at him, allowing Cruger to dodge Metal Man's attack and the remaining attack. Landing on the ground, Cruger turned his attention to the robot and charged forward, Shadow Saber drawn.

"Targeted, huh? Well, you can tell your benefactor that this is one job you've failed!" As he got close, he slashed at the robot.

Metal was blown off his feet, sent tumbling down the road. As such, it also put him out of the range of Cruger's slash.

But Metal had his tricks too. With a flare of determination, he triggered Tsukaimon's evoluton.

Into Megadramon.

Who then swooped down, swinging his massive metal claws at Cruger and Theresa both, managing it with his large size.

Theresa's mask remained the same smile it was frozen in while her eyes went wide and she cut the energy from her staff, dropping out of the airspace just missing the massive metal claws.

Pointing her staff at Cruger still focusing on the tamer she fired another energy blast from the tip and called to Deltamon, "Stay on target!"

Obediently the three headed beast charged up another three pronged blast of energy shooting for the right, predicting Kruger to dodge that way.

Deltamon's attack was off its mark, Megadramon's attack forcing Cruger to backflip away from the Digimon's attack.

It's too cramped in here. Need more room! Cruger thought, coming to a stop. With a slight nod to Dobermon, Cruger turned and started running, the Digimon following.

"What's the plan?" Dobermon said.

"Wider area, better battleground!" Cruger said, realizing an Elemental Cannon onto Dobermon.

Megadramon just laughed, the missile ports on his arms opening up and sending down a spray of missiles at all of his various targets. Meanwhile, Metal Man ran for cover, content to let his digimon do all of the work... for now.

Theresa loaded up her D-comm's shield function, supplementing it with her staff's energy. The combination wasn't enough though and both shields Shattered upon contact with the missiles. She let out a cry and was blasted through the air from the impact landing near Cruger.

Deltamon managed to detonate the missiles before they caught him and jumped off his rooftop perch to chase the fleeing Cruger from the ground.
