It was no secret that Daimon Chika hadn't been feeling too well lately. Well, physically, she was fine. Emotionally, though? Her dad being hurt so badly, and so suddenly, had really made it a bit difficult for her to maintain an upbeat appearance. Thus, the reason why they were not in Royal Base today.
Takeru had decided that it was an awesome idea to take her out and try to cheer her up. Which was, of course, the natural thing to do in a situation like this, and Chika was going along with it, despite really not being in the mood for it. She was quite grateful for what Takeru was trying to do.
Piyomon walked close by, a little worried about the timing of their outing today, but not saying anything about it; with all of these people being hurt left and right lately, he didn't like the idea of taking a chance and coming out somewhere. But he also realized that they really shouldn't have to be forced to hide when times were bad.
So he just figured he'd have to be extra on-guard. Just in case.
Still, he was just as upset about Chika feeling bad as Takeru seemed to be, so at the same time, he was glad for the distraction.
