The road to recovery was often a long one for any person under mental duress, but with Haku it was difficult to tell if she was truly getting better, or forcing herself to behave as such. How could one tell insanity, exactly, in a being who's mind and soul were entirely computerized?

Gentle rain fell on the rooftops of Tetha. Haku's red eyes tiredly watched the droplets drip thickly down from the ledge of the covered porch she sat on, facing the quiet, wet street. Her guitar was on her lap, but her hands hadn't yet moved to strike a cord yet.

It was a struggle for her to get Oni to leave her alone at all. She knew he meant well, and wanted nothing more than for her to be well again, but she wasn't even sure she was ready to see her family again, let alone be around him constantly. She found herself longing painfully for the days when she could sit in a room and be completely alone for hours or even days on end. But she knew in the back of her mind that was not something she should be wishing for - her old life was one of sadness.

But what was her new life becoming, with so many in pain, her siblings falling victim to multiple unknown and unseen forces?

Sighing quietly, Haku began to play...
