Where: Asuka
Takeru was having a very bad week. He still had no sign of ways to get back home, and the place he had landed in this reality... Well, it was very similar to old Japan in a lot of ways, only inhabited by these strange creatures. Only... some were not very welcoming to humans, here in Asuka. He had been between a few small towns since his arrival, trying to barter for basic supplies with what little he had. Some places were more accepting, while others... his senses immediately told him to steer clear.
Parallel worlds weren't such a strange thing to him. The Sanzu River was practically one itself. And, there was the incidents with the Kamen Riders... He wondered on occasion, these past few days, if Tsukasa had ever been any place like this.
But more, his thoughts rested with his comrades. Research into the past communications throughout this world, though his "D-Comm," had revealed that some worlds keep moving in real time, while others slow down. He certainly hoped it was the latter, but didn't really have any way to check...
And then, there was... the Shishi Origami, now transformed into one of these creatures. A "Coronamon," by all accounts. Not only was it something that notably weakened Takeru's fighting ability, not being able to call the Origami into its larger form... of course, there were the concepts of "evolution" that had been tossed around in the discussions he'd read, but that was a matter of harnessing that power...
Not that he wanted to be here long enough to find out. He had his own demons to combat.
"Tono-sama, are you all right?"
Takeru grimaced a little bit. That the Origami could now TALK, also... was somewhat disorienting. This was a creature that had lived for hundreds of years... and he was sure he had a lot of knowledge to offer, but... it was strange.
"I'm fine," Takeru said, grip tightening on the pack of limited supplies he had been able to obtain, as they walked down a small wooded path on the way to the next village, which was a port that would lead off the island. "We just need to make certain we don't dwadle. I want to be at that port by sundown."
