What: Maria is lost in Neon City./Intro for Maria
When: November 23rd 2009
Where: Neon City
Maria was lost. Yes, you heard right, lost. Last the girl remembered, she was dying on the ground, and pulling the lever to send Shadow the Hedgehog into space to Earth, in a capsule...She wanted the people of Earth to be happy. She'd made him promise that to her, to make them happy. The girl frowned slightly as she clasped her hands together, she hadn't met anyone and was completely alone, at least for now...Was this Earth? Could it really be that she'd just been saved, and she was simply saved by the miracle of modern science? She didn't know it, but she ha been dead for at least fifty years from within her original world. She closed her eyes for a moment, thinking about something, when she heard a beeping sound nearby her.
When Maria's eyes snapped open, she glanced around the city area that she was in, briefly to locate the sound of the beeping. She'd seen many, many strange creatures before now, so she wasn't too surprised when she saw the light pink bird Digimon standing near her, with a strange device in it's wing...Hand thing? Maria blinked, paused, and rubbed her eyes, as the Biyomon looked back at her.
"Ahh!" The Biyomon smiled, brightly and flapped her wings, flying on over to Maria, and landing next to her tamer, with a smile on her beak(if it were even possible.), "You must be my tamer, I'm Biyomon!" She said cheerily, as she held out her wing that wasn't holding the D-Comm, to shake Maria's hand. Maria nodded slowly, in confusion, but shook the bird digimon's wing, and smiled, in a friendly manner to her new partner.
"I'm Maria, Maria Robotnik." She responded, with a soft smile at her partner, before glancing around, "Would you mind telling me where I am?" She asked, curiously. "I...Was supposed to be dead, last I knew..." She said, with a frown.
Biyomon blinked a bit, thinking for a bit. "Well...First, you're in the Digital World, and I'm not sure, but sometimes the Digital World pulls people from their worlds, and we Digimon become their partners. Currently I've heard that there is something drastically wrong within the Digital World, and our god, Yggdrasil, he pulled a bunch of tamers from their worlds, and takes them here. To the Digital World." She said, smiling. "Why you're supposed to be dead, and here instead? No clue." She said, a little confused, herself.
Maria slowly nodded, believing everything this bird thing had to tell her, and frowned, "Wait, what's a Digimon?" She asked out loud, curiousity getting the best of her as she glanced to the Digimon once more.
Biyomon giggled, and then blinked. "You're more curious than I am!" She grinned, then began preening a bit, before she responded to her tamer. "Digimon stands for Digital Monster. We each have a tamer, or two, and we fight for them, against other Digimon to protect them, and help them about the Digital World." She grinned, then realized that she hadn't given the tamer her D-Comm. She smiled and handed it over to Maria. "Here. This is now yours, you can do a few different things with it, such as contact other tamers, and such." She said, with a light grin, and then glanced around.
Maria was fascinated by this machinery handed over to her by the bird Digimon, having stored away all of the information that she'd given her in the back of her head, for future reference. This place seemed to be very interesting, after all, there was much to learn, as well as there was much to work on, mechanically. Like this D-Comm/Digivice. Maria smiled lightly, knowing that she'd like it here. She then turned to Biyomon, one last time, with a smile. "Thanks. So I guess you stay with me?" She asked, with a grin, which Biyomon simply nodded to, happily.
"Yup. You and I are now partners until you leave the Digital World!" She exclaimed, grinning.
Maria then realized something, "Oh! Have you seen or heard of a Shadow the Hedgehog here, yet?" She asked her new companion.
Biyomon blinked briefly, then shook her head, "Nope, not that I've heard of or seen." She said, with a shrug.
Maria frowned, and then nodded, smiling again. "Alright then, what shall we do first?"
