The smell of the cake lingered in the air, and while he knew it was for Haku, it was hard not to be hungry even after a day of working in a pizza parlor.

"Well, I was getting ready to go out..." Haku said with a faint smile and a blush, taking the cake and stepping back from the door. "But I'm always so much earlier than Eikichi ever is! You boys can come in for a while. I'll make some tea."
Watanuki waved his hands, a little flustered, "Oh, don't go out of your way for us! Its your birthday after all! I can make the tea if you let me use your kitchen."
