Alyssa was not happy with her current progress towards her goal. The attack had initially been a success. People feared the prototype, and had initially started to rally against her. Not even DATS could ignore the accusations piled against Miria.
Then something she could not predict happened. Several pawns in her scheme had been kidnapped by others with their own designs on the digital world. This had pulled away too much attention from her attempts to villainize her rival. So there was only one solution: Raise the stakes.
Greg, while having been an exceptionally useful pawn initially, had mostly out grown his usefulness. Now it was time for "Miria" to carry out her mission, and kill Greg Sanders.
