Anna hardly said a word the entire trek through the D'Ango Forest, with Tamao riding on her head as usual; her focus was on the map section of her D-Comm, tracking the signal that could only be her fiance's.

"Anna-sama...? Are we going to retrieve Yoh-sama?" After a heartbeat of waiting, Anna didn't reply with an actual response-unless you consider what she'd normally say to be an appropriate answer.

"Hmph!"

Terriermon sniffed the air and caught whiff of Tamao. "Uh oh, here comes trouble...." he said.

"Anna has every right to be pissed off at me," Yoh replied.

Tamao sniffed the air and gasped; she caught a whiff of a certain Terriermon. "Anna-sama...!"

"I know, Tamao." Surprisingly, or not surprisingly...? Those had been the only words Anna said since talking with Yoh over the D-Comms not too long ago!

Anna gave Yoh a glare that suggested he'd said something VERY insulting about the outfit she'd made for him quite some time ago...twice!

Anna continued to glare at Yoh while quickening her steps, grabbing his chin when she was in range and forcing him to look at her.

Yoh winced a little as she forced him to look her in the eyes, causing pain in his stomach.

"Punish me all you want. I deserve it," he said as he wrapped an arm around his stomach.

Anna was sorely tempted, but at seeing her fiance in such a state...she gingerly wrapped her arms around him and hugged him instead. Punishment would definitely come, but much later after his wounds had healed.

"What happened? From start to finish-explain."

Yoh explained the basics of what had happened during the fight and after. "Sorry we didn't contact you sooner," he mumbled.

"You should've contacted me before you left...!" Anna snapped, turning away so Yoh wouldn't see the relief mixed with concern in her eyes.
