"... You came to me the other day, talking about how you knew how alone I felt and everything I'd done to make myself that way," he said, staring off down the hall. "And... I realized you're the same way.
"You're jealous of everyone, you want to make yourself seem better than Miku... but you keep pushing people away by acting selfish and crazy, and you're alone at the end of the day. Is that about right, Teto?"
He sighed, and... looked up at the ceiling. "I can't go on being the way I am. I need to... reach out to more people than just Haku... And since we're alike... I figure... we could help each other."
Teto looked over at Dell, quiet for several moments as she took all of this in. Part of her thought he was lying. He had to be. This had to be some joke, some stupid prank just to get back at her.
... But another part of her completely trusted him. That part of her wanted to give him a chance. A real chance.
And that second side to her was the side currently winning this internal conflict of hers.
Teto opened her mouth to say something, then shut it. She bit her lip, looking to the ground for a second or two, then bringing her gaze back up to Dell, nodding.
"The way Teto-chan sees it, we'll be stumbling around in the dark either way," Teto commented with a bit of a smirk. After mulling it over for another moment, though, she came to her decision.
It's an experiment. A test. She was proving something. Why not go with it?
"Then, we'll help each other," She said, the smirk becoming a smile.
Teto couldn't explain why, but she really liked seeing him smile. It made her smile as well.
She shrugged at his question. "Talk to each other? Teto-chan's room is just a few doors down, we could go there for a bit and get to know each other better."
Well, it wasn't exactly french bread, but better than nothing. Teto smiled and pushed herself away from the wall, twirling in a circle once before heading in the direction of her room.
"Hey," he said, eyes narrowed.

Stared.
... and stayed like that for a few moments before she put on a smile.
"Dell-kun! What brings you to Teto-chan today~?"
Oh, she caught the narrowed eyes. She caught them.

"Ah? And Dell-kun wanted to tell Teto-chan of his realization, is that it?"

... and then she clasped her hands together behind her, looking to the side as a slight flush crossed her cheeks, a pout forming on her face.
"Teto-chan is not crazy," was all she said.
But hey, she wasn't denying most of it.

"So you think we can work together on this?"

And then he frowned.
"... I never thought I'd get this far. What do we do now?"
