At the moment, though, Robin, there WAS someone - Ryoko.

Ever since the eviction, she stayed out of contact in hopes of things just going smoothly. Then, everything came crashing down on everyone. And, in less than a week, two of the most important people in her life - Hay Lin and Tenchi Masaki - were gone from the Digital World.

It didn't matter that Sasami was still around. She didn't care that there was a Will here or an Irma. It wasn't the same ones as before. And she knew that, if a Hay Lin showed back up? It wouldn't be the same.

Catching sight of the Boy Wonder, the former pirate glared at him, and formed one of her energy blades, ready to chase him off. "HEY! Why don't you just get lost, alright? I don't need the company!"

Whoops...wrong windowsill.

Pulling out his staff and holding it in a defensive position, Robin held out both arms at the same time and tried to calm down the former pirate/member of Hay Lin's crew.

"Sounds to me like you could use the company just as much as I need someone to talk to...you haven't talked with anyone in weeks, and that's a sign that you're not trying to move on."

"Not trying to move on? Not trying to move on?" Ryoko said, her voice rising. "In no more than a week, I lose two people I care DEARLY for, find out everything we've helped build just up and vanish and you want me to CALM DOWN AND TALK TO SOMEONE?!"

She approached Robin, the blade illuminating the place. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't just gut you right now and get it over with?"

Seconds later, Ryoko would find a Batarang near her throat, and Robin doing his very best impersonation of Batman that he'd perfected pretty well over the past year or so.

"Besides the fact that you'd be tried and convicted for blatant murder, how about this: Hay Lin wouldn't approve of the fact that someone she deeply cared for killed another one of her good friends out of pity and rage!"

Ryoko barely flinched as the Batarang came close to her through, still glaring at the Boy Wonder.

"What do you know about what Hay Lin would or would not approve?" Ryoko hissed. "You weren't as close to her than I was. If things didn't happen the way they did? I would have won her heart. The shit she suffered because of Tatum wouldn't of happened...!"

Robin could only reply with a "Tch!" before answering back, aware that Ryoko's blade was giving off quite a pretty, if not dangerous, glow.

"I don't have to be that close to a friend to know what's in their heart! And I know Hay Lin wouldn't want us coming to blows over what happened. I'm sorry she didn't choose you after everything went down, but you can't push everyone out of your life because she's gone!"

Ryoko let out a low growl before backing away.

"What do YOU know? Huh? I'm sure you pretty much still have a few friends that are left here! Me? None at all!" Ryoko shouted. "Frankly, I wish that damn god would take me away, too! I'm sick of this! Sick of EVERYTHING!"

"...I hardly have ANYONE left!"

The Batarang would soar right by Ryoko's left ear before embedding itself in the far wall of the girl's apartment, as Robin did his best to calm down.

"You're not the only one who's suffering! I know you lost Hay Lin, and more than your share of close friends, but have you lost your mentor, someone who you'd finally considered a father, another person who you looked up to and worked together with?! I DID! Batman, Superman, even Batgirl...they're gone now, and I've gotta deal with a psychopathic clown and who knows what else is out there alone!" True Terry was here, but Tim couldn't always rely on his 'brother,' and with Jaime dividing his time between patrols and dates with his girlfriend...

Ryoko jumped slightly as the Batarang wizzed by, causing her to turn around and face Tim again.

"'Close friends?' 'CLOSE FRIENDS'" Ryoko shouted. "I LOVED THEM, DAMMIT!" In anger, she launched the blade at Tim. She knew he would dodge, or use the Protect option to shield him, but, at this time? She didn't care. She was angry, and she was going to take it out on someone.

Robin was gonna do more than dodge, as his moment of rage allowed him to see things much clearly than he had before.

"If you loved them, then fight for them! Fight against the evil Digimon in this world to honor Hay Lin and that one guy; that is the one you're talking about, right? The one who kept on falling in the hot springs? Pretty clumsy, if you ask me."

"HIS NAME WAS TENCHI!"

That's all the warning Robin got before Ryoko came close and thrusting her fist towards him...only to smash it into the wall near him. "And he wasn't clumsy... if you remember, it was you girlfriend who froze him because of that stupid witch that was here...!"

"...So many people have fallen into the hot springs, it's kinda hard to keep track." Robin noted, having dodged the fist and leaped onto Ryoko's couch.

"But, yeah-I remember that happening. Still...someone as pretty as you shouldn't waste your energy on me; you should take your anger out on the Digimon who want to kill us."

"Yeah, well, I... h-huh?" Ryoko began before hearing Robin's comment. She couldn't believe her ears: was he hitting on her? Trying to ignore what she heard, she continued.

"Yeah, well, I got more than enough to go around - I wouldn't mind knocking you around for a little while right now...!"

"Seriously; I can see why Hay Lin fell for you-you're feisty, you never give up when the going gets tough and you've got more than enough energy to spare when it comes to dates.

"I just came off of a patrol shift, so trashing your room isn't really a part of my schedule...! I was kinda hoping to get some sleep..."

Well, whatever anger she had beforehand? Had pretty much been put on the backburner as she decided do something else: torment the Boy Wonder.

"Get some sleep, huh? So, you figured you'd drop by here..." Ryoko said, a smirk on her face. "Perhaps I should have been more inviting, yes?"

Robin's eyes widened slightly in amazement when he noticed the smirk on Ryoko's face; that didn't necessarily mean good things were going to happen in the long run...!

"...I was kinda hoping to get some sleep after I did something else first." Robin probably should've mentioned that he'd planned on soaring over the rooftops for a while, since cutting himself off mid-sentence might imply something completely different.
