When: August 12th, evening
Where: The Magical Teashop, Tetha
Jinx's office was a bit less tidy then it usually was. There was some laundry sitting in one of the chairs that needed to be folded, a blanket and two pillows set on a long psychiatrist style sofa and a stack of papers on her desk that looked like she was trying to ignore.
Jinx herself was still dressed for work in her white button up dress shirt and vest, she was smiling warmly at Vidia who had just woken up from several months worth of Data freeze in Jinx's closet.
Sending her daughter and Breeze off to play with Lily's Cousin Yu Jinx sat down in her comfortable looking chair and crossed her leg over the other. She was thinking back to when she'd found the frozen fairy and her partner.
It had been a week or two after she'd been hired to work at the teashop and she wasn't answering Jinx's calls. After a few days of not coming into work Jinx tracked her down and found her in her room.
And Jinx had been stunned to find out...she looked like she'd been crying.
Unable to deduce why from the room itself Jinx waited, and waited, and waited. She kept checking in on Vidia to make sure she was still frozen in her room, even lay her on the bed so she didn't look so unnatural.
And when the Inns had been evicted Jinx enlisted the help of a few friends to move the thin and light fairy and her feathered partner to the teashop for safe keeping.
And here we were back to the moment.
"So how are you feeling?" Jinx asked gently now that they were alone.
