Where: Neon City
Melinda and Black Guilmon were out walking.
Melinda liked to walk...no one tried to talk to her like when she sat somewhere, no one expected her to do much...well except Black Guilmon.
"I'm bored!" He complained loudly following a few paces behind Melinda as she strolled along the street.
"Then go away." she responded, her voice soft as always but her partner was used to that.
"I can't I told you I'm your partner, so you gotta do what I wanna do sometimes! It's not always about you!" He growled.
"It's never about me." She mused in a somewhat disheartened tone. And truth was it wasn't right now.
She'd been pulled to a world that wasn't hers, away from all she knew and expected to save it? She couldn't even save herself.
Even now as she walked in her street clothes she felt her choker warm and comforting. Her body ached for the soothing touch of her robes, she wanted to transform into the Scream Queen! Then and only then was she ever confident enough to be loud.
But she couldn't not in a city with so many heroes. She had heard that a Batman was lurking in the city...and if it was the one that knew her...
But she wanted to change so bad.
