Nick had arrived so late the night before it was damn near early morning anyway.He figured as much as he wanted to see his friend and make sure he was alright after all that he'd heard about, it was probably better to wait until morning. The last thing Nick wanted to deal with was a cranky Greg on top of everything else.
So he went and saw Lorne about a place to stay and was set up quickly, which he was grateful for. Apparently world-hopping made a guy tired. Who knew?
But he woke in the morning, got dressed (with a reminder to find some new clothes at some point), and headed out with Cassie to the apartment number Lorne had given him for Greg's apartment.
"You really really sure he wants to see you, Nicky? Your friends made it sound like he was a bad mood," Cassie pouted from his shoulder.
"Hey, Greggo needs my support. Trust me. I've known him long enough to know this," Nick reasoned, knocking on the door lightly and waiting for a response.
