Quick had been having it rough the last couple of days. But, honestly, he couldn't say what was putting him in such a bad mood. Something just didn't feel.... right. And it was annoying him to no end. He'd tried ignoring it, but it wouldn't go away. He'd tried distracting himself from it, but that only seemed to make it worse.
It was when he found himself baiting Flash just so he would have someone to be angry at that he knew he'd have to stop trying to get away from it and deal with it. So he was running in an attempt to clear his head. He'd even left his comm at home so he wouldn't be tempted to use it as a distraction. Not the smartest move, but he was confident he could outrun any trouble that might come his way.
So there he was, running up and down the mountainside, when he zipped by. Curious, he looped back and, perching on an outcropping of rock, stared down at the group. So much for not being distracted.
Hoshi? Why does that name sound familiar? Hoshi Hoshi Hoshi..... Yoshi? No. But I know I've heard that name before. But where, Quick thought as he shamelessly listened in on the conversation.
Swinging his legs over the side, he slid down closer, being extra careful as he didn't want to fall without his armor to protect him. Once he was close enough that he was sure she'd hear him, he let out a shrill whistle.
