When: July 9th, 2009 - Early Evening
Where: Royal Base
After everything, in the end... Things were deemed by those in charge of investigating what Signum had done to have not been her fault, mostly. She had been manipulated by a Demon King, and brought under her control...
This didn't entirely sit right with Signum. She knew better herself, she knew that it was because she herself had shown weakness and given in... none of that would have happened, otherwise.
But then, if not her, it would have been someone else... and would someone else have had an Achilles Heel, such as she had with Agito?
One didn't gain much by trying to speculate on such things. All Signum knew she could do, now, was try to make amends, for herself, and for those close to her...
She sat in the new quarters she had been given in Royal Base, reviewing information on relevant things that had changed within DATS in her time away. She was still monitored, and what information she had privy to was... limited, at best. Some caution was to be expected, but by and large, she was being allowed to live in relative normalcy. She knew she would be placed back in DATS, somewhere, she just wasn't certain WHERE.
And for now, Kotemon's egg still rested silently across the room.
And additionally, she still had people to face... Matters she had to sort out well beyond Fate. Hayate, Vita, Agito...
And a promise she had made.
She closed her eyes, leaning back against her seat.
If anything, all of those were much more daunting than a simple battle.
Those, for her, were at least easy...
