Who: Owlman, Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Pamela Isley w/Partners
What: Two Down...Two To Go!
When: July 6th 2009, sometime after midnight
Where: Greenhouse, Dokako Jungle
All was silent in the Dokako Jungle, except for the usual noises of Digimon either sleeping or running to avoid deletion. In this case, it was to avoid deletion...by a Thunderbirmon. Said Thunderbirmon was the Digimon partner of Owlman.
He was currently disguised as Batman, and this would be his third attempt to strike at the real Batman by targeting his so-called 'surrogate' family. Owlman had already attacked his two surrogate sons, and now he was going to attack the surrogate daughter. Even if said surrogate daughter had a biological father in Commissioner Gordon.
"When word got out that Batman was put on ice, I went around Neon City dressed as him, hoping to discredit his name...unfortunately, word must've gotten out that I had a Thunderbirmon as a partner instead of a Birdramon so things haven't exactly worked in my favor. This plan, however, is sure to work...! All I need is precise timing and hope that things are set up exactly how I would set them up."
Barbara Gordon, dressed as Batgirl, was just getting back in with BlackGuilmon; they'd ended their round of patrols a little bit earlier than usual. She would've loved to stay out and patrol Tetha until 3:00 AM, but with Robin back on his feet and having things well in hand with Blue Beetle, she didn't have much to do in the city that had welcomed her just as easily as it had the others that didn't have to do with her talk show. On a more positive note, their show was really getting huge ratings thanks to Pam's idea!
"Maybe Pam and I should take a break from all things Tetha for a while...except for the show!" Barbara thought while carefully placing her suit in it's specially designed case behind her closet before making her way toward the bed she shared with Pamela-her partner had already started one last round of patrol around the place before he would turn in.
"Besides, moving boxes and certain pieces of equipment is one thing. Moving an entire building to another city like Axoryi...that's something totally different!" Barbara snuggled against Pam underneath the covers, not aware of the imminent danger that the two Gothamites would face within a matter of minutes...!
