"OK Lunamon you can do this." She spoke trying to convince herself that she was right.

The water of the pool glistened and swayed quietly as Lunamon teetered on the edge of the tile that led up to it. She was wearing tiny floaters on her arms and her eyes burned with determination. Only the faintest flicker of fear betrayed her as she tried to psyche herself up to leap in.

She had never learned to swim in Meria, the obvious reason being that most bodies of water were too cold for her.

But the pool was nice and cool, not cold. And with the hot summer days ahead it was no doubt going to be a popular resting place for the residents.

Sir her plushie sat in a poolchair nearby, his plastic eyes watching her, always watching her.

Just jump in and drown yourself already you pathetic rodent.

She winced at the cold cruel voice in her head, "P-please sir I just need time to get used to it...it's scary."

Fear is a sign of weakness...I honestly shouldn't be surprised.

"I-I'm sorry I'm not stronger sir...I'm trying."

Onizuka took a long drag on his smoke and let the smoke out of his nose to amuse himself, "I'm bored." He complained laying on the edge of the fountain that stood in the front garden of the hotel. The entrance to the hotel grounds was a tall iron gate door way in a stone wall fence and a terracotta tile path led around the fountain to the front doors of the hotel.

Goblimon was in the actual fountain with goggles, flippers and a snorkel scrounging for change. "You could give me a hand here, why am I doing this when we have food in the apartment?"

Onizuka grinned playfully, "Because you really love that Ramen cart down the street and you lost our bet last night."

"You knew damn well that Piyomon was tone deaf, I don't know how you knew but you knew! I swear the ONE night there's a tone deaf bird in the club..." Goblimon muttered scooping up some discarded bits from the bottom of the fountain.

Between taking care of two very sick non-Vocaloid siblings and needing to continue repairs all around the Hyperion, Haku had hardly anything in the way of rest the past couple of days. She didn't mind, really - Greg and Sabine needed to be taken care of if they had any hope of getting well, and the repairs could only wait so long.

But she got them done as quickly as she could manage, and finally she'd finished the last of the list. If she had real bones, she could have said she was tired right down to them, but really she knew it was just a lack of recharging.

She ignored it for the moment, having one last thing she wanted to do before going home, checking on Greg and Sabine, and getting some well deserved sleep.

Gathering up her tools and her belt, she headed upstairs to the top floor, poking around for a certain some one that was sure to be there. Eventually she spotted a familiar figure musing over the view of the city, and sheepishly cleared her throat to get his attention.

"... Lorne?"

Lorne turned and before his face could be seen his trademark grin was in place.

"Good morning Haku Honey, what's my favorite silver haired singer up to today?" He cheerfully greeted her washing away his thoughts to the back of his mind.

Haku felt the usual blush creeping on to her lips whenever some one made such a comment like that to her, but she smiled past it and moved to stand in front of him.

"Um, well. The repair list is finally finished," she said, managing to hold back a yawn that came with the thought of just how much she'd been working. "Aaand... I wanted to give you something," she added, eyes darting to the ground sheepishly.

Lorne's ruby red eyes opened a little wider in surprise but his grin was affixed, "Oh don't leave me in suspense." He begged with a wink moving closer to the sweet little android.
