To tell the truth, this was the day Devlin had been dreading the most: Father's Day. The years he'd spent worshipping his father had been bittered by his father's insistence on taking his revenge after escaping the Null Void. He'd been happy to just try and forget it all.
And then he found out about the Kevin here. He was still confused about that--Kevin wasn't in the Null Void like he was supposed to be, and he claimed that he was working with Ben. None of it made any sense, and everything just led to an angry and confused boy running off to the park to try and fail to clear his mind.
