What: When does anything ever go as planned?
When: Early Afternoon, June 16th
Where: D'ango forest
"Water." Rasped Tigerstar as Tadpole returned from fetching fresh riverwater in a large sopping ball of moss.
"Easy now Tigerstar." Tadpole set the moss down and the irritable cat began licking the moisture from the plant before coughing and trying out his voice again, a bit less scratchy the second time, "Thank you Tadpole."
Tadpole purred pleasantly, today was the first day since he'd arrived that Tigerstar had thanked him for anything. In fact today was the first day Tigerstar had seemed...relaxed.
Either he's starting to feel better or he got into the other poppyseeds I had.
"Would you like to come out today Tigerstar? The sun is nice and warm." Tadpole had been wary of letting Tigerstar out because of his various escape attempts but as he was feeling better today maybe it was the right time.
Tigerstar nodded and stood on legs stronger and more confident then he had stood on in days and led Tadpole out into the clearing outside their den.
Tadpole had found this clearing shortly after meeting Tigerstar, something about it felt familiar, but at the same time there was an unsettling scent in the air he couldn't shake. It mingled with the comforting feeling leaving the digimon with an upset stomach. Tigerstar didn't seem to notice as he found a nice flat rock bathed in sunlight and rested on it.
"This place is not so unlike my home...what did you say it was called?" Tigerstar asked gazing around the forest.
"D'ango Forest, I was born on the other side of it but I started traveling a few months ago." Tadpole explained settling down near the rock looking up to Tigerstar.
"We simply called our home the forest, then each clan had a territory that belonged to them." Tigerstar mused watching the sun filter through the trees. "Are there many...what did you say you were?"
"Tailmon, a Black Tailmon, and yes in our world Tailmon live everywhere, even in cities and on the ocean."
Tigerstar gave Tadpole a stare and his ear twitched in confusion.
"Um...a city is like a big area with buildings and streets and cars, and a ocean is like a huge lake."
Tigerstar continued his confused stare. "I know what a lake is." He admitted.
"Right...remind me to take you exploring when you're back to full health."
Tigerstar grunted and looked away with a look of annoyance. One Tadpole had become intimately familiar with.
