It wasn't often Haku desired alone time. She enjoyed the company of her family immensely, and often times being alone meant being depressed. But the vacation was relaxing enough that she felt the need to simply walk the beach at night by herself. Onizuka was having his own fun telling insane stories of being a teacher at a rough Japanese school around the campfire, and she'd used the moment to slip away and take to the beach alone.
This time, being by herself was actually relaxing, and the gentle crashing of the waves on the dark beach was a calming tune after such a hectic but fun day. Her guitar, which she'd brought with her to play at the campfire, was still on her back, and she hadn't changed out of her bikini yet, instead just wrapping a flowery sash around her hips for cover. The air was warm enough still that she didn't even really need that.
As she walked along, movement under the moonlight caught her eye, and as she got closer she could see it was a person crouched near the shore-line.
Daring to move closer, she stopped a few feet down from him and walked in to the water, letting it lap at her ankles as she stared up in to the night sky above.
Normally noone would be able to sneak up on the Turk like this, but overcome by nostalgia he was distracted...his guard was down and he knew it. Quickly though he stood up and shot out the EMR, turning to face the individual.
The voice, he noted was synthesized, and his first instinct was that it was some kind of Hojo-toy. But then he saw how incredibly...human...she looked. Well, Hojo took things that were human and...well...Vincent was proof enough. He kept the EMR level though, he couldn't be too careful.
Haku turned, a bit of wind catching her loose, long hair and letting it billow out behind her a bit. She smiled faintly, pushing some of it away from her face and tucking it behind one ear.
Miku had mentioned something of a big family, and the synthesized voice could go along with being a popstar, how he wasn't sure though. He very slowly lowered the EMR, keeping it in his grip just in case.
"Haku, huh?"
He walked out of the water, small droplets dripping off the bottom of his pants, as he found his shoes and socks and slung them over his shoulder.
"I take it she invited you?" Haku said with a giggle, her faint smile becoming gentle and warm. "That's just like her. I swear she'd adopt the entire world if she could..."
Leaving at that, she motioned back to the glow of the campfire in the distance.
"...Way to make me feel special yo." He said, sticking his tongue out a little before following just a few steps behind. He couldn't just walk side by side with her, he didn't know her well enough yet, but he couldn't just...not go. He felt it was the safest option.
"Some people more than others~" Haku said teasingly, though really she was referring to some of her family and how odd they could be. Even Greg, who constantly claimed that they were the insane ones, could be just as goofy and silly as the rest of them.
"I hope you don't mind a noisy bunch," she added as an after thought with a glance over her shoulder and a renewed smile. "We tend to get pretty rambunctious when we're all together."

"It's pretty out here, isn't it?"
