Who: James, ???, Others later?
What: Unprepared for trouble or Unprotected for devastation.
When: May 16th, early evening.
Where: Neon City Streets.
It was a Saturday night as it ever was in Neon City. The hustle and bustle of Tamers and Digimon rushing out for nightlife entertainment in the glowing electric town of sleepless nights was in full flow. They scurried like ants down walkways and across streets filtering in and out of buildings in almost an organized sort of chaos.
All but one man who was on a roof high above the ground watching the people and Digimon below.
James, the soul human member of Team Rocket in the Digital world let out a sigh and slumped against the edge of the building. He had come to Neon hoping to feel inspired to commit a crime. Any sort of crime would do! Petty theft, jaywalking! Anything to prove he was still one of the bad guys.
But sadly...he hadn't even been able to bring himself to pick a single pocket, or even walk on the grass blatantly close to a sign ordering him not to.
Palmon seemed oblivious to his troubles. She had had a very prosperous night in her own eyes. Just the few hours they'd spent wandering around Neon and she'd given out all her pamphlets on "The Word" along with half her stock of T-shirts. James didn't have the heart to tell her how many of those had been discarded into the nearest trashcans.
Looking up at the sky the electric haze of the city killed off any starlight James had hoped to catch a glimpse of. "Even backround characters are being brought here before Jessie and Meowth," He sighed, "Maybe...maybe they just aren't coming."
"Boss..." Palmon's soft voice brought his gaze down to meet her deep dark eyes and for a moment she was like she had always been. Entirely devoted to him. The eerie glow coming from the markings under her petals however were an all too constant reminder that Palmon was not who she had been when they'd met. "All we need is each other and the word." She assured him patting his gloved hand with her own leafy hand.
And for a brief moment? James considered letting Palmon lead him to Daemon and attempting to discover the all too dedicated and devoted peace that she had found in The Word.
