What: The Road Behind Me and Ahead Is...

My story was like any other childs. Nekane-neechan told me about my father. He was like a superhero.
She told me he went around, helping people. But I could never see him again because he had died ten years ago. Anya argued that no one can meet someone who was dead. But I believed that I could see him if I got into trouble.
So I spent weeks getting into trouble, provoking dogs, and even falling into rivers. Nekane was shocked at my attempt at getting into trouble.
And then, one day when I was coming home, tragedy struck. Demons attacked my home, petrifying the townsfolk. Stan-ojichan, the man who looked after me was petrified and Nekane was severely hurt.
But then, my father came. He defeated the demons despite my fear of his tremendous power. And I was ready to protect myself and my sister from him.
But then he said something I was unprepared for. He gave me his staff. And then told me to 'Grow Up Well And Happy'
For years I studied magic, rising to the top of my class. And then I got my graduating assignment as all mages do: I was posted as a Teacher in Japan.
My class was challenging, but what made it even moreso, was the advent of a girl in my class I hadn't expected to be there: Evangeline A.K. McDowell, the worlds strongest Vampire Mage who had over a 65,000,000 berry bounty on her head. She attacked Nodoka-san and continually threatened the school. And then, during a power outage, she struck. She was almost too much for me, even with Asuna-san's help. But somehow, I managed to defeat her.
We went to Kyoto, and there, I learned more about my father and his former allies. More and more challenges approached me, and I fought as hard as I could. I even became Evangeline's diciple, in the black arts. Though...
After the Mahora Festival, Albedo Imma, a man who was my fathers companion, told me that he, my father, was alive. I decided to go to the Magic World, but there, I encountered a boy who I shared a distinct emnity towards with most of my friends. A stone spear was hurled through my chest. I almost died. If it weren't for Konoka-san's artifact, I would have.
The one who threw it was a boy named Fate Averrnicus, and though his intentions were not clear at the beginning, he soon sought me out in the city of Ostia. There he tried to barter with me, asking that I turn around, and ignore him completely. But when his goal was to destroy the world, I couldn't let it slide.
Even when our fight demonstrated the differences between us, I kept training. Harder and harder, gaining new allies to help prepare me for that jump into the land of the gods.
And then, I surpassed Jack Rakan, an ally of my father who was said to be so broken in power and ability, he was undefeatable.
In a burst of light, Negi cancelled the spell which bound him and the occupants of the room together. Opening his eyes, he found that they were indeed damp, for he had shown them everything about his world and his life. All his hopes, dreams, and the dark rage that boiled in him when Fate was involved.
