Crash might not pick up on it, but... someone's been following him. Namely, Vent, and his partner, Dracomon.

In truth, they'd been observing the home of Crash and the other Robot Masters for a while now, ever since Metal Man exploding and Dr. Wily's breakout.

While Crash was unaware, Gotsu wasn't. Or at least the digimon couldn't shake the feeling of being followed so he tried to stop Crash by tugging on the robot's arm.

"Crash," he hissed, looking around. "I think something is watching us."

That got the robot master to stop and look around too, before saying much to loudly. "Whoever the hell you are? Come out or else!"

Vent stopped. And didn't say anything. Both his training at Central and as a Guardian told him to act nonchalant, and like he was just a normal pedestrian.

Which he did, by ordering something fried from a street vendor.

The complete normalcy of the situation was pissing Crash off, when at any other time he would've shrugged and gone on his way, but right now wasn't a normal time for him.

But what he did next well... he shifted how he is standing as the panel in his left leg snapped open, if someone was following and knew everything about him would know what that means, and if they're smart they would try and stop him.
