In her room, Genevieve was sitting on the floor beside her bed where Lopmon was resting. When she heard the knock, she got up and opened the door.

"Hi," she greeted Laura quietly.

As Laura saw Genevieve she gave a small nod as she entered the room and spied Lopmon. She raised an eyebrow at her injured partner and the fact that it was a Lopmon. Another thing that caught her eye was how young the other girl was. She couldn't be more than eight or nine years old.

Laura gazed at Genevieve softly. "Hi there. I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Laura. Laura O'Neil Winters."

"I'm Genevieve Riveare," the younger girl replied. "Nice to meet you."

She sighed, unsure of how or where to begin.

Even though Laura was just as unsure as Genevieve, she felt she had to say something.

"You too. Um, how's Lopmon doing? Does she need anything?"
