Karin had decided to take a walk herself to clear her head. What better area to do so than the park? She liked the park. The park was nice. Very nice. So she made her way out of the penthouse that now belonged to the New Guardians, and made her way to park.

When she got there, however ...

...

She hadn't expected to see him on that bench. But it was a good thing, right? She had to talk to him anyway. It worked out.

So why couldn't she make herself move?

Karin almost turned back, but she willed herself to stay. She needed to. They really needed to talk.

With a deep breath, she made her way over and sat in back of him on the double benches, remaining quiet while she contemplated how to start off what she wanted to say.

Finally, she opened her mouth.

Nothing came out.

She closed it.

She thought some more.

... Oi.

Kazune was being pretty much oblivious to the world, so he didn't notice when Karin took a seat behind him. He had been too busy thinking about the fact that he needed to talk to Karin.

...

He really should look behind him...

But... nope. Too busy looking up at the sky and such, thinking too hard.

However, there was a band lurking about. They're called the Electric Mayhem.

Karin glanced at him for a moment, then turned back to face her front, sighing and fiddling with her hands in her lap. After a few moments, she glanced back again.

Looked at him for a moment ... then turned back.

This is stupid ... why does it have to be so hard?!

She closed her eyes.

Wait, was that music playing?

...

Best go with it. She began to sing, softly, seeing as it was the only thing she could make herself actually do for the time being.

Kazune's blinked whe mhe started to hear the music play, and then widened slightly when he heard a familiar voice starting to sing along to it. Realizing that the voice was behind him, he glanced back, noticing blonde hair.

He then closed his eyes, and he sang along.

My parents say isn't he a gifted son

By but still I have to wonder why

Oh hey, this was going quite nicely. And the best part? Totally unplanned. She felt herself smile a little as she continued on with the song.

Kazune was actually quite enjoying this. It's been a while since he's done some singing, karaoke or not. He shifted, closing his eyes as he continued along with her.

It was at the moment, when Kazune's hand moved, going and grabbing onto Karin's.

Came to say that I moved,
I see your face you don't approve
Guess you could say that I'm already gone

Karin noticed it as he grabbed her hand, but she didn't push it away. Instead, she felt her own fingers entwine with his as they continued.

Kazune couldn't help but smile slightly, before continuing.

I feel the time pass away

There was then a small instrumental pause, when Kazune slowly leaned it, kissing her on the lips for a small moment.

Karin leaned in for a moment, kissing him back .. before realizing that he was actually kissing her. While she was happy, she still wasn't all too sure they should have been doing something like that when they weren't .. um. Together.

So she slowly pulled away, looking to him with wide eyes for a moment, before standing and shaking her head.

"I've got to go, I .. yeah, sorry."

And once more, she didn't give him an opportunity to reply as she made her way away from him, only stopping to sing one last line once she was far enough away.

You'll never know that I was the one.

Kazune watched as she walked off, before sighing to himself. Well... that certainly didn't work in the fact that he needed to talk to her but..

It was nice.

He got up, deciding to head back to the Silver Dragon in a different direction than Karin. He has had enough fresh air for the time being.
