"Astamon!" And not wasting one second the now perfect level digimon aimed at BlackGarurumon. "Hellfire!"

While Shadow's own attack, the digisoul around him exploding outwards and well... Blasting anything to close to him.

BlackWereGarurumon let out a howl as he was blown back, landing in a pile of junk. He lay prone, smoke rising from his chest where he'd been hit.

Bass? About the same thing happened to him, except when he landed, parts of his body were exposed and sparking.

"You... you stupid rat!" he growled. "Fight fair, dammit!"

Dammit. He should have called up his armor...

Astamon got up, and kept Hellfire aimed at the prone form of BlackWereGarurumon. Just in case.

Shadow? Was slowly walking over to where Bass lay, red digisoul crackling around his hands.

"I'm using my natural skills," he said plainly, as he reached out to grab Bass by his hair and pull the robot up. "I say that's fair."

And then he brought his free fist to connect with Bass' head, repeatedly.

Bass was too damaged to dodge. The blow struck him across the face, denting the side of it.

BlackWereGarurumon suddenly... shot up to his feet, and ran forward... but not at Astamon, but at Shadow and Bass.

"Damnit!" Astamon shouted, aiming his gun at BlackWereGarurumon but not firing because he wasn't sure how much damage he'd do to Shadow if he hit the hedgehog.

But Astamon's shout did do one thing, it warned Shadow as he turned quickly. Putting his weight into it as he tossed Bass right at BlackWereGarurumon.

Bass? Didn't really have time to properly react, as he was thrown at his partner. They met with a clong, the force of the blow knocking the black and white werewolf over.

Astamon lowered his gun, just sort of staring at what happened.

"... Can I kill them?" the digimon asked, keeping his gun trained on them as Shadow didn't move.

Mostly because his back was hurting like hell.

WereGarurumon lifted up Bass, and... growled as he sat up, growling at their two opponents.

Shooting them a sneer, he sat up, and...

... tucked Bass under one arm and ran.

The robot began to curse the entire time.

"Hey!" Astamon shouted and moved to chase them but...

"Stop."

He turned towards Shadow who, for once, didn't look so good. So it didn't take much, words or otherwise, for Astamon to go and help Shadow in getting back to Mordred.
