Rouge was walking on Mordred Castle's courtyard with Dr. Eggmon. Normally, Rouge stuck close to her teammates and Bowser, but the Digitamamon needed her help with something.
"Thank you for helping me test the new security protocols, Rouge," said the red, egg-like digimon. "Not only do we have a shield to filter out the gas that poisons out the dead zone, we now have an automated security system to defend from intruders. That'll show Bowser I'm just as useful as Joe and Wily..."
Rouge yawned and stretched. "That's quite alright doctor," said Rouge. "I'm always willing to test my infiltration skills. I'm just surprised it managed to peg me."
Eggmon chuckled. "Well, my dear, I've refined it quite a bit..."
Rouge nodded... and then looked around. "So why did you de-activate it?"
Eggmon blinked. "Well... unfortunately, it's still in beta testing. I had to deactivate it so I can accomodate the data from today's test. Unfortunately that means a full system shutdown."
Rouge crossed her arms. "Isn't that risky?"
"Oh come on now," replied Eggmon. "It's not like some murderous fiend is going to just realize from the Lightpost in the next two minutes."
