"If you don't mind my saying, Signum-san," Kotemon said, as he and his Tamer stood upon the rocky coastline of the Digimon's home country. "Would it not just be easiest to transport yourself via lightpost?"
"Traveling in such a convenient manner won't find us what we seek," the knight stated, one hand on her hip. She was still wearing her TSAB uniform, and had Leavatein in its pendant form gripped in her other hand. "With that man obviously having made it into this reality, after his escape in my own... I feel more comfortable employing more old-fashioned ways of searching for him."
Kotemon held out a hand to indicate the ocean before him. "Okay... but I don't think he's going to be in the GIANT BODY OF WATER in front of us."
Signum gave a small smirk. "I'm old, stubborn, and set in my ways. I'll have to ask you to forgive that and bear with me if you wish to fight alongside me." She looked down at Leavatein. "Crossing this won't be a problem, nor will it take very long... So long as you're not afraid of heights, that is."
Kotemon blinked, and sighed, looking back at the land he would be leaving. "...can't be any worse than here. The civil war ended months ago, but there's still a lot of unrest. Especially towards outsiders, in some areas... So forgive me when I point out how much you stick out like a sore thumb. However we leave, it's probably for the best." He looked back to her. "But what about your friends? You haven't spoken to them since that person's... what were they called?"
"Gadgets."
"...since those things appeared on the mainland according to that post. Won't they be worried?"
Signum looked mildly amused again. "I'd like to think Vita knows I can take care of myself. Regardless, we should make it a point to meet up with her once we REACH the mainland. As for the others... The day Testarossa's worried about that, I'll have to re-teach her why she shouldn't be."
Kotemon just looked at her, rather confused. "...um. If you say so."
