Who: Terra, Dark, and Edward; partners What: Vacation=meeting new people When: September 29, 2008 [frontdated] Where: Asuka( Repeat after me: I NEED a vacation. )
Terra blinked, for a moment lost in Dark's smile...but then remembering that charm didn't always mean good. Instead of taking his hand, she pushed herself up - with a little help from Gotsumon.
She dusted herself off and replied, "New to Asuka, maybe, but I've been in the Digital World for several months."
A nice but subtle way of saying she knew how to defend herself if she needed to.
"I'm glad she's feeling better," grinned Dark as he held Ed back with an arm, the shorter alchemist flailing uselessly against the strong grip Dark had on his face. "We've managed to find a nice Japanese-styled inn here but we've seemed to have gotten lost. If you want, we could show you guys around a little before we try and find our way back."
"Damnit," growled Ed, finally giving up his quest to murder Dark. "Yeah, this place has some nice stuff. There's the rock gardens and the flower beds..."
"Terra," Terra put in. "And my partner is Gotsumon." Gotsumon gave a small wave and then a glare to Dark. He didn't much like the taller one of the two. "And lose the madam. I don't like titles."
"I think we're near the fountains which is the first stop. It's all hand-carved stone, a really nice fountain depicting their area leader," said Ed, pointing down the large path towards the middle of town. "From there we can go left to the Rock Gardens."
A small smile curled on Terra's lips. "Rock Gardens, huh? Sounds really nice." The town looked nice too. "What kinds of Digimon live around here, anyway?"
"Mostly ones that are influenced by the Japanese era, Musyamon, Renamon, Igamon, all sorts of ninja and samurai types as well as mythical ones that offer up a strong connection to the pre-feudal era," stated Dark, reciting what he knew. "I spent years studying the feudal art and history before coming here."
"I've only seen stuff like this in pictures and travel guides," added Ed. "When I come from, there's some political unrest so finding cultural things like this is short with the Mark going downhill these days. Alfonse and I are headed to Berlin soon though to meet up with the other rocket engineers."
Terra smirked. "History's actually a subject I'm pretty good at. So we're talking feudal Japan, then, hm?" To Ed, she commented. "Berlin? Then you're German? Pretty big culture change, I'd say."
She wasn't about to mention that she was also from a European country. Not at all.
Dark nodded as Ed said, "Actually kinda from another world similar to Germany. At least they speak our language and stuff. Hard to really say considering I don't often pay attention in between rocket development. All of these big rallies all the time. I know Alfonse goes once in a while to see the guy talk but I'm more worried about getting the rockets done."
Dark shrugged, smirking. "I'm normally looking at things from the sky y'know. Birds Eye View and all that?"
Ed growled, but remained in control. Killing the idiot would come later.
"C'mon, it's this way," said Dark and Ed followed reluctantly as they turned the corner...

Gotsumon went to help her up, glaring at the two boys who...sounded oddly alike. "Hey! Watch where you're going!"

"Oh right. Sorry," said Dark, his little scowl turning into a charming smile as he offered a hand to Terra. "Hello madam, new here?"

Dark on the other hand, smiled at Terra. "Oh you wound me madam, I'm just being polite."
"Polite like always I'll bet," snorted Ed lowly.
"Say something tiny?"
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO TINY THAT HE CAN'T EVEN BE MEASURED BY A YARD STICK?!"

Terra started laughing. Not just a small chuckle either, but full blown laughing. She hadn't done that recently.
Gotsumon stared at her. "...You broke my Tamer."
Terra laughed harder.

"I'd like that," she replied. "If there's one thing I know, it's that I picked a nice place to vacation."
She added, "So thanks, uhh..." She didn't get their names.

"Dark Mousy," finished Dark smoothly. "And our digimon, Terriermon" Terriermon nodded politely, "And Kokuwamon. A pleasure to meet you madam...?"

"...Rocket development? And...rallies?"
Oh, crap. This guy could be in for some bad things when he got home if he was from where she thought he was.
