Chika was ... well, more than a little late, but hey, who cares about timing? Chika hummed a small tune to herself as she happily walked toward MarineAngemon's resturaunt, happy about seeing old friends again.

Well, of course, that's if what her father wrote to her was true. She had known Touma was here for some time now, and she had worried, not quite knowing when she'd see him again ... with all of the recent events happening, however, he had slipped her mind temporarily.

She felt a little guilty about that ...

Shaking the thought away (and almost effectively shooing Puwamon off ... it was unintentional, honest!), she continued toward the resturaunt and stepped through the doors, smiling at the familiarity of it all. Puwamon chirped a little and nuzzled her affectionately, causing the young girl to giggle and take him into her arms. It was a sure sign that Puwamon was hungry.

"We'll get you something, Puwamon~!"

Emerald eyes glanced around the room, easily landing on the table that sat her father, her boyfriend, Satsuma, Yushima, and ...

"Touma-niichan!" Puwamon moved to her shoulder and clung to her shirt as Chika squeaked and rushed over, throwing her arms around the blonde boy she had come to regard as another older brother.

... Chika was gaining quite an extended family.

Touma didn't quite have time register the fact that Chika was there before he was nearly knocked out of his seat by her sudden hug. Getting his balance, and recovering from his initial surprise, he pried the girl loose from his neck.

"Chika-chan!" he laughed, and the smiled. "It's good to see you and-"

He stopped cold, quickly noticing the Digimon with her was Puwamon, rather than Piyomon. He looked to Ikuto and Pinamon, then back to Yushima, Satsuma, and Suguru, fighting off a mixture of surprise and disgust in his expression.

They would attack children, he thought to himself. And do this to Falcomon and Piyomon... someone like that is... just...

He looked back down to Chika, forcing his smile back. "It's good to see you're all right."

(OOC: Forcing this thread along if it's the last thing I do, even if it's a bit at a time. XD )

Pinamon happily flew from Ikuto's hands, running over to play-tackle his best friend. Ikuto had a similar reaction, getting up and moving to hug and kiss his mate affectionately, making a seat for her next to him. His yellow eyes seemed to sparkle when she was in the room, and he held her hand happily.

Suguru smiled at the presence of his daughter, and then after a moment, stood up.

"The answer here is clear, everyone. This world is currently facing an upheaval, what with humans and digimon partners appearing. DATS has always been an organization meant to keep the peace, and it's clear that we should carry that on here. For our sakes, and the sake of everyone that wants to exist peacefully in this world..."

He cleared his throat. "There are Digimon leaders in charge of places like Tetha. We should see if we can work with them... and also spread out, search the Digital World for whomever might need our help."

Ikuto agreed, but he quickly responded to Suguru's statement. Standing as well, he had one hand palm-down on the table, the other still holding on to Chika's.

"We need to find Mercurimon. He will help. He is powerful." While what he said was true, he also had to see with his own two eyes, he had to know if that Mercurimon was his old mentor or not. He would not be satisfied until he did.

While Ikuto seemed to hold out faith the Mercurimon here was the same he remembered, Satsuma seemed to be more realistic about it. But Ikuto was so sure, and how did he know Ikuto wasn't right? Perhaps it would be best to find that out for themselves after all.

"It would seem Mercurimon *would* be a good place to start, if what Professor Daimon said is any indication." said Satsuma, "And not just him; any of these leaders may have more answers, and just might give us a better insight as to why all of us--not just we who are a part of DATS--were called here."

Touma crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair. "This world's Omegamon also leads the Virus Busters. Seeking him out, as well, would probably be a good idea."

He said this, even though he had a somewhat uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach ABOUT the Virus Busters that he couldn't quite place, from everything Gaomon had said.

"Plus, there's this city's own leader," Gaomon said. "Though, at our current fighting power, we don't want to do anything that would... prompt any of them into battle right now, as they're all Ultimate-levels."

Touma resisted a smirk. Were Masaru with them, he wondered how long THAT would last...

Suguru nodded. "Still, Hououmon of Tetha seems like a wise and well governing leader, seeing as how Tetha is a very peaceful place. I think we should start with seeing him personally, and through him, try to form friendships with the other powerful Digimon - including the Virus Busters and the Olympus Twelve."

Ikuto smiled as he sat down, grateful that they would try Mercurimon.

"I have seen Hououmon. He gave me feathers, for Chika." He motioned for her necklace, which was adorned with beautiful gold feathers.

"He is a good Digimon." Pinamon had fallen asleep on top of Ikuto's head, but the boy didn't mind.

Satsuma nodded, "Then it seems we'll have to see Hououmon first, before we move out to do anything else."

"Satsuma."

Those at the table seemed surprised when Kudamon suddenly spoke, trying to get his partner's attention. "Kudamon, what is it?"

"This may come off as an odd request," Kudamon began, "but the Virus Busters were spoken of as if they were Royal Knights. If this is true and the Virus Busters are this world's equivilent, it may be wise if you and I were to be the ones to meet with them when the time comes."

"That seems the most logical course of action," Touma said, nodding. "Kudamon would know best how an organization like that works... Though, we should tread with caution... Even if our world's Royal Knights eventually came to help us, and you with with us the entire time, Kudamon, they also caused a lot of damage for the sake of what they thought was "right"... I pray we don't run into anything similar."

"Don't worry everyone," said Suguru, smiling wide. "If we approach these digimon with pure intentions, and if their's is the same, then we'll get along fine. Even with disagreements, true brotherhood always wins out."
