Fujieda Katsuro was apprehensive and excited about what was about to happen. He was going to get to see his dad... or at least, a version of him. But after only hearing stories about him from his mother and his extended family, he was still excited all the same.
But at the same time... he was nervous, because... what would they think of him, especially if they weren't his real family?
"V-mon..." Katsuro said. "Do you think... it'll be alright?"
V-mon smiled... "Of course it will, Katsuro... you have to believe in yourself, you know?"
Katsuro nodded, apprehensively...
... And that was when the ground a distance away exploded. V-mon lept on Katsuro, protecting him from the flying debris...
