What: Celebrating Mother's Day...His Way
When: Sunday May 11 - Early Morning
Where: Edge of Tetha
Ichigo could rarely remember how he and his family had celebrated this specific day back when his mother was alive, but he would never forget how they celebrated this day now that a certain Hollow-named Grand Fisher-had taken her life, and up until the time he had first met Rukia, he had thought that he was the reason their family had changed. Or at least, how he celebrated this day.
The Shinigami hadn't woken Agumon up when he'd left his apartment, but told himself he would do that once he'd gotten back. Despite the fact that today was the day of the invasion, and that he would have to do what was necessary to protect the people he'd come to know since arriving here, and those who were back in his world, he would take time out to do what he had to do.
Performing some Shunpo steps once he'd exited the Silver Dragon apartment complex, Ichigo made his way to where he'd first appeared in the Digital World-literally on the edge of the floating city known as Tetha-and held up some recently purchased flowers. Hoping that he wasn't temporarily causing any flying Digimon to go blind with what he was about to do, he separated the petals from their stems until he was holding just the stems in one hand; in the other hand, he held quite a lot of petals.
Allowing a faint smirk to cross his face, Ichigo was thankful that Kuchiki Byakuya wasn't anywhere near him at the moment; he would truly be perturbed by what the orange-haired Shinigami was about to say:
"Scatter...Senbonzakura!"
Ichigo thrusted out his hand and watched as the numerous petals floated in the air before making their descent toward the forest, wondering what his mother would say to him if she were alive and able to watch his present like this. Dropping the stems that were in his other hand, Ichigo closed his eyes for a brief moment once he felt some of the petals graze his face as they flew back in his direction.
"Happy Mother's Day...mom."
The Shinigami Tamer allowed a relaxed look to appear on his face before opening his eyes and walking back toward the apartment. Curious as to what Karin, Yuzu and his father would be doing to commemorate their mother, Ichigo knew what he would have to do in order to find that out. Take the advice from those weird Wizard Digimon and use that one device.
