Kouki hadn't gone to the closing ceremony.

So, he was understandably pissed when the outer wall of his apartment got blasted by some digimon's attack.

He had survived, but in the process, been thrown out of what was in general a pretty nice place to live.

"COME AND GET ME YOU BASTARDS!" he cried, attacking the nearest digimon with a digi-soul empowered fist. Meanwhile, Commandramon was firing indiscriminately into the mob.

"YO!" Kouki called up to the ruins of his apartment. "Ivan, you alive, buddy?!"

His friend had been taking a shower when the attack had hit... he had no idea what Ivan's current state even was.

Ivan had just happened to have gotten out of his shower when the apartment got attacked, so while he was fine he was only in a towel at the moment. While the only sign, right now, that Kouki would get that Ivan was alright from the ruins would be...

Armadimon curled up into a ball and rolling right at the mob, with Ivan a bit behind.

"Of course I am alright, Kouki!" Ivan shouted in response. "I am bit lacking in clothing, not that I would tell you that even if you ripped off my mouth."

Kouki stared, gaping.

"That is more than I needed to see," he groaned.

"You and me both," replied a shell-shocked Commandramon.

An angry Tyrannomon suddenly rushed the group, breathing fire at them.

Ivan would've pointed out that Kouki has seen him in much less clothing, but the Tyrannomon attacking them pretty much stops that.

"Ack!" Armadimon shouted, having uncurled from his ball and jumping, and then recurling into a ball, to block the flames.

Kouki's eyes widened. "Oh man, Armadimon! I am so sorry I called you fat right now!"

Commandramon grunted, and lept onto Armadimon, kicking off of him. "DCD Bomb!" he shouted, throwing several of his grenades.

It struck the Tyrannomon in his eyes, causing he beast to fall over writhing in anger.

"Ow ow hot hot!" Armadimon responded, not caring that Commandramon just used him as a jumping post. "AND I'M NOT FAT!"

Ivan shook his head, just glad they didn't end up dead. "Kouki, Commandramon, maybe we should try and find Nanami and... DATS," he looks like he may just say his usual line... "Before it gets up again."

Or not.

Kouki... glared at Ivan. "Yeah, I dunnow why you want to track DATS down... but that actually sounds like a good idea."

Commandramon ran back over to them. "The safest way appears to be to the west," he said. "Let's move!"
